Leaf-bare has been hard on all the clans, but Thunderclan -it seems- has been hit the hardest. They haven't been seen in over two moons, and the borders are becoming unclear.
Buzzardpaw silently padded down the slope. He hoped it wasn't true that Thunderclan was gone. They couldn't have gone away! Buzzardpaw quickened his pace, but halted once he reached the border. Should he wait for a border patrol? He decided not to, and continued on his way. Buzzardpaw became nervous; he felt like the trees were closing in on him. He stopped for a moment and sniffed the air. Rabbits, mice, and birds were all nearby, but he was looking for another scent. And he found it! It was still faint, but it was still there!
He ran through the trees, only stopping to check if he was still on the trail. Buzzardpaw ran into a clearing, and ahead of him were some bramble bushes. The trail led him through the bushes and into a gorge. What he saw made him throw up his last meal.
