Once everyone gathered underneath the high rock, Firestar began to speak.
"Cats of Thunderclan!" He shouted, he divine voice echoed on the walls of the gorge "this she-cat known as Thunder, wishes to join us!" Thunder stood up and walked over to Firestar.
He continued "Thunder, do you promise to uphold the warrior code, with your life?"
"I do." She answered; Firestar rested his chin on her head, his eyes gleamed as though he had seen the stars.
"Then I name you Thunderpaw!" Yelled he.
"Thunderpaw, Thunderpaw, Thunderpaw!" Shouted the cats below. Firestar lifted his tail for silence.
"Your mentor will be Buzzardtail!" Continued he. Thunderpaw nodded.

As Buzzardtail went to train with his apprentice, Firestar and Darkstone talked about needing a deputy.
"Darkstone, we will need a new deputy to organize patrols once our clan begins to bloom." Stated Firestar, the old cat shifted to clean his paws, but he watched Darkstone with one eye.
"I know Firestar."
"That is why I think you'll be perfect." Darkstone's eyes went wide.
