The Prince and The Thorn

Chapter 6

Prince~

These past few weeks I've been getting to know Rose pretty well.

She's not just pretty, she's also smart, talented, and super kind. She told me she knows how to play the violin and flute. I'm really glad na mahilig din pala siya sa music and instruments. I myself know how to play the piano. If we have time in the future I want us to play together and create music.

There's so many things I learned about her. It's a pity that she doesn't like cats. I like cats and I have one or two or three, maybe four. But that's fine.

I can feel that we're really getting there. Parang we're the perfect match. There's so many things na pareho kami. I know I said I want someone who is the opposite of me. Pero aangal pa ba ako? Isang magandang babae who is almost perfect ay magiging Girlfriend ko? I must be in heaven.

Di naman sa nagmamadali but I want her to be mine already. Parang kami na nga. I know she will say yes to me. I'm confident that she will.

I know we like each other. Hindi lang namin inaamin sa isa't-isa. I promised Thorn that we will take things slow.

Thorn is really protective over her cousin. She once threatened me with a knife when I asked her kung pwede bang maging kami na ni Rose after getting to know her for a week. She says it's too soon. She told me I might not be ready yet. Which confuses me. Dapat diba sabihin niya si Isabella ang hindi ready? But I didn't mind her words na lang.

Thorn is really funny. She's a bit sassy and sarcastic most of the time but she's really fun to be with. I enjoy her company. Me and Mason do. Parang hindi nga siya babae because she fit in with us very well.
She's also tall, 2 inches lang agwat namin.

I don't know why but I feel eased being with her. It's like we understand each other kahit medyo hindi. There are times I would understand her certain look. It's weird. It's like we're connected in some way. I'm really happy finding a friend like her. Pwede ko na palitan si Mason. Mas gusto ko pa ang pilosopo kaysa sa Malibog.

And speaking of Mase. Yun kaibigan kong yun. He's been acting weird for the past few days kapag kasama si Thorn. I would sometimes catch him staring at her. Which is weird. I think my friend is catching feelings on Thorn. I don't want to assume but. I hope things work out with Mason.

"Hoy!" Thorn snapped her fingers on my face. I jolted a bit. Her face real close on mine. "Pinag-iisip mo jan. Patulong dito oh." Sabi niya at nilayo ang mukha niya tapos tinuro ang number na hindi niya alam I-solve.

"This is easy. You just gotta use this formula." Sinulat ko ang formula sa papel niya at ang unggoy na katabi ko parang hindi parin gets. Lumapit ako sakanya and made our shoulders touch.

"Watch closely how I solve this." I told her and started solving it slowly so that she can understand.

"OP op op! Ano yang ginagawa niyo ha?" Bigla pumagitna si Mason sa amin. Pina-usog niya ako ng malayo para makaupo siya ng maayos sa gitna namin ni Thorn.

"Ano ba yan! Nagpapaturo ako kay, Zeid eh!" Galit na angal ni Thorn kay Mase.
Ngumuso naman si Mason.

"Ako na lang magtuturo sayo,gusto mo yun?" Pacute ng kaibigan ko. Okay confirm. He likes Thorn. Sige hayaan ko na lang sila. I'm gonna finish na lang ang sinasagotan ko.

"Eh Bobo ka rin sa Math?!" Napatawa ako ng mahina sa upoan ko.

"True. Tara sabay tayong mag paturo kay Sensei Prince." Napatingin ako sa kanilang dalawa. Hmm. Ano na lang gagawin ng dalawang to kapag wala ako. I can see sparkles in their eyes.

"Listen closely now, children..."

"Mason, Aminin mo nga. Gusto mo ba si Kaiden?" Hindi na ako nakapigil sa pag tanong sakanya.
