A decade ago, there was a breakthrough discovery; a moisturising cream that worked wonders and bestowed firm, glowing skin. Women, in general, swore by it, and a few even died for it. It changed the face of the beauty industry, literally.
And by the time the other reports started coming in, it was a little too late to save them. No, there was nothing wrong with the cream, it just worked too well and the chemicals (there were rumours of dark magic used to seal the formula) seeped into the bloodstream, slowly altering its users...
The women became porcelain dolls.
