Chapter 4

"MJ, wake up"

Michelle is being shaken. She opens her eyes and for a brief moment she doesn't know where she is. Her vision focuses and she sees Peter kneeling in front of her shaking her awake.

"Hey, you gotta wake up so I can walk you home" Peter says gently.

Michelle stares at Peter for a moment. His hair is messy, just the way she likes it, and his eyes are a deep calming brown. She shakes herself awake.

Michelle sits up, a little embarrassed with herself that she fell asleep in the first place. She looks around. "Where's Ned?" she asked.

"He left like half an hour ago." Peter says sheepishly, rubbing the back of his neck

"Well why didn't you wake me? I could've just walked back with Ned. He passes my place to get home anyway," Although Michelle was asking questions, she was pleased to be here with Peter.

"I know, I just wanted to walk you home. And you just looked so adorable asleep I couldn't wake you," Peter laughed, exposing his straight white teeth.

"Oh, I'm adorable huh?!" Michelle says as she attacks Peter with his own pillows.

Peter laughs as he allows himself to be attacked and falls on the floor and Michelle lands on top of him, pinning him to the ground, with a grin to her ears. "Still think I'm adorable, Parker?"

Peter looks at her with a expression Michelle can't quite place, "You're beautiful," is all he says.

She looks down at him for a few seconds before she hears someone in the apartment.

"Peter! I'm back and I brought Thai food!" May calls from the kitchen.

Only then do the two teens see the position they are in and how it might look to an observer. They quickly scramble to get up. Peter's face is an amazing shade of red, and Michelle thanks god above that blushes don't show was easily on her complexion.

Peter clears his throat, "We should get going," and Peter runs out of the room. Michelle chuckles, gathering her things, and follows him.

She finds Peter in the kitchen with May. May looks up at her.

"Oh Michelle, I didn't know you were still here, is Ned here too?" May asked

"No, he just left and I was about to walk MJ back home," Peter says a bit too quickly.

May looks between the two teens with narrowed eyes and say, "Am I gonna have to have a talk with you two?"

Peter looks horrified, "No, nope, not at all, nothing happened! I'm just gonna take MJ home now I'll be back in a few!"

Peter grabs Michelle's hand and run out the door.

"Later May!" Michelle manages to say before Peter shuts the door.

Michelle and Peter are walking to Michelle's house hand in hand like any normal couple would do, except Michelle still didn't even know what they were to each other. She knows they are definitely more than friends, but she wonders if Peter wants to be with just her the way she wants to be with just him. So, she just asked him.

"Peter, what are we? Because we do a lot of things couples do, and we never really defined what we are, so I was just wondering," Michelle had to force herself from talking anymore.

Peter Look at her and rubbed his neck, "well, I was, uh, hoping you'd wanna be... my... girlfriend?" Peters voice got quieter throughout the sentence, but Michelle heard him perfectly.

"Wow Parker never thought you be so cheesy, but I guess I can be your, uh, girlfriend." Michelle tries to sound like she doesn't care, but she actually really happy and Peter know her well enough to know this.

Peter smiles at the ground and holds Michelle's hand a bit tighter.

They make it to Michelle's door.

"Well this is my place" Michelle stated.

"Yes, it is," Peter smirks.

They stood there looking at each other for a few moments until Michelle broke the silence.

"Well are you gonna kiss me or stand there like a-"

Peter grabs her sides and pulls her to him. Michelle's eyes widen.

"Look at this, I think I broke my girlfriend." Peter chuckles.

Michelle comes back to her body "Oh shut up Loser," and she kisses him. She put her hands on his shoulders, and leans into the kiss. Peters grip tightens on her sides and their bodies connect. Her whole body felt warm. Michelle had never been kissed like this.

They break apart and look at each other. Peter grinned at Michelle.

"I'll call you later MJ." Michelle just nods.

Peter gives her a peck on the cheek and, while still grinning, walk away, Leaving Michelle stunned in her doorway.

I was on a roll writing yesterday lol. I was able to get 2 chapters ahead! im gonna try and get them out maybe 2 times a week but idk if ill have time cause sis gotta work so she can eat :)
