Chapter 28

CHAPTER CONTAINS CURSE WORDS AND HAS SOME OVERTLY SEXUAL THEMES.

December 31st comes, and Michelle is nervous. She and Betty go to the cabin a few hours before the party starts to set up. The cabin is pretty spacious but also homely. The guest room is somewhat secluded from the rest of the house being that it's in the attic. The attic is a bit away from the rest of the house. The entrance is through a closet that has many dusty old jackets in it. They go through one more door in the closet and it's the real entrance to the room. They walk up a flight of stairs and they made it to the room. It was nicer than Michelle thought it was. It was a decent sized room and there was a bathroom attached to it. The room had a huge window that looks out onto the countryside. There was also a small couch and TV in the corner. Michelle and Betty start dusting things off and clean the room up some more.

"Are you excited for tonight, MJ?" Betty asked fixing a rug.

"I'm actually really anxious," Michelle says honestly.

"It's okay, just don't put too much pressure on it, cause then you'll just stress yourself out." Betty says trying to calm her friend down, which she does successfully. "Okay I'm gonna go finish setting up for the party. Can you finish here on your own?"

Michelle nods and Betty leaves. Michelle finishes cleaning up the room to her liking. She doesn't go all out decorating with candles and roses or anything. She just makes it nice. When Michelle decides she's done, she leaves to help Betty.

Michelle leave the attic to find that Betty outdid herself with the decorations. There are gold and silver streamers everywhere with the new year printed on it. She blew up some balloons and let them just float in the ceiling. She has one long banner that says 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY MJ" which makes Michelle cringe.

"Okay! I think it's done now!" Betty look at her phone, "So, I said be here at eight so naturally everyone will be here around nine-ish. Let's start getting ready. OH, can I do your makeup MJ?!"

Michelle rolls her eyes, "Sure just don't make me look like a clown."

For the next hour Michelle and Betty are doing their makeup, when she gets a call from Ned saying their outside. Ned opens the door front with Peter, Harry, and Cindy following behind. Michelle immediately get nervous seeing Peter.

"Hey guys! Were just getting ready! You can do whatever until everyone else gets here." Betty said too extremely pumped.

"Hey MJ." Peter goes to kiss Michelle but get slapped away by Betty.

"You can kiss her when I'm done with her face. Until then leave my masterpiece alone." Betty then whispers in Michelle's ear, "He's not gonna be able to keep his hands off you when I'm done." She laughed and continues working on Michelle.

Soon Felicia and Flash show up together bring the majority of alcohol as promised. When more people start coming, Betty tells the group to start putting out the snacks and put on the music so she and Michelle can get dressed.

They head to the attic room to get dresses. Michelle is wearing a burgundy body-con dress with thin straps and it hits mid-thigh. She's wearing black sheer tight under it and her new black boots Maya gave her, which add another 3 inches to Michelle's already impressive height. Michelle let her thick hair out of its bun to cascade down her back in shiny curls.

"I feel overdressed." Michelle says to Betty who is wearing a similar dress but hers is baby blue and has long sleeves.

"Who cares if you're over dresses, it's your party!" Betty says.

Michelle is still a bit fidgety, so Betty says, "MJ. Calm down, you look hot! There should be more people down there so let's have a good time!" Betty drags Michelle down the stairs and out the door.
