Iarann's POV/around midnight
We heard a female crying out loud. Crazy looked at me, fear in his eyes. "They torture her... we need to act fast." I nodded at him, still trying to check the position we were in.
The Irish didn't have a heads up like we did, they thought they were alone.I nodded at Crazy and whistled silently, signaling the rest of our friends that we go in.
After crouching down in front of the farmhouse, we made our way to the porch, unseen by any enemies. While I was checking the front door, Crazy looked into one of the windows on the left side.
"She's in here. Two guys with her, a third in the backroom.", he mouthed at me and I nodded. I managed to open the door quietly and pulled out my glock and checked my knifes on my belt and in my boots. Seeing Crazy arming himself, I gave him a sign to enter the house. We took down the two guys in the front without any effort and they fell to the floor with a small "thump". Crazy hurried to Mackenzie and removed the blindfold, gesturing to her to stay silent. In the meantime I made my way to the backroom, where Crazy mentioned another Irish prick. The moment I aimed my gun at the guy, standing with his back to me, I felt a gun at my right temple. "Look who's eager ta join tha festivities!"
Crazy got up, eager to help me only to find him and Mackenzie surrounded by four men.
"Put down yar weapon, friends." The ashole on my right said.
Within seconds both of us got disarmed. The guy who stood with his back to me, turned around and I hissed at his sight. "Shite..."
"Good ta see ya son.", my father in law smiled coldly at me. "I can't say tha I am happy to meet ya under these circumstances..." He made a gesture at the men surrounding us. "...but ya ha' ta understand tha this ha' ta be."
Looking at him with an ice cold stare, I spat to the floor. That's when one of the guys behind me, kicked me in my knees and I fell down with a loud 'thudd'. "Ya ha' ta behave, lad. Or it will get unpleasant." Big ole daddy snickered at me.
"What the fuck do ya want?", I spat out, when I got up again.
He looked at me. "Such disrespect... but ya ha' always been like tha'... still don't get what ma daughter saw in ya..."
That's when I lost my temper and I jumped at him.
After a short tumult, I was pinned down on a wall, two guns aimed at my head and a nice set of knives on my throat. Growling at the slaves of the irish prick, he came closer. "Yar right here, where I wanted ya ta ha', Lennox. What would my dear daughter Moira say, if she coulda see ya like tha'?"
"Don't talk 'bout her... ya ha' lost all the rights to talk 'bout her, when ya killed ma wife!!", I yelled. He looked at me, shaking his head. "It wasn't ma who killed her, son... it was all yar fault." He came closer, only inches away from my face. "And ya'll will pay for tha'.", he said quietly and walked back to the window, where he stood before.Irish daddy snipped his fingers. "Bring them in, Sullivan!"
My eyes jumped to the door, where Sullivan appeared, dragging in two familiar faces. I heard Crazy gasping somewhere behind me and I couldn't believe my eyes.
"Corallee..." "Iarann!" She looked at me, shocked and afraid of the situation. She and Fi held each other tightly, absolutely unsure of the situation. Fiona cried silently.
"Aye. I brought yar gurl ta watch tha show, son! Would be sad, if she wasn't a part of it, right?"
Sullivan held both of the girls close to him, shooting me a look of fear.
"Tha gurls don't play a part in tha... let them go..." I pleaded. It seemed the best idea to ask nicely, because I wasn't clearly in any position to demand anything. Moira father clapped his hands together.
"Sorry boy, but tha' ain't happening. Now... do yaself a favor and tell ma who is tha head of yar silly resistance crew... it obviously isn't ya, because you've fled like a dog with his tail between it's legs..."
"Sorry, POPS, but can't tall ya what I dunno know." I grinned at him dirty, what resulted in a punch to my nose. The sound of a broken bone, my nose, could be heard and I felt something warm running down my face. "I would reconsider yar answer, boy. GIV MA A NAME, NOW!"
I nodded, agreeing on his terms. "Alright, alright. I'll tell ya. But first let the gurls go."
He smiled at me. "Do ya think I am a dumb teenager or sumthin? I don't play any games here. I don't care about yar gurls, I want ta know the names of yar little organization and I want ta see ya suffer, for what ya did to ma babygurl!", he growled at me.
I looked at Corallee, locking our eyes. All my love I felt for her was showing. She nodded at me, with a small smile.
Breaking the eye contact with her, I returned my gaze to my used to be father in law. I answered him coldly.
"Moira Doherty was one of the heads of the resistance. Yar gurl never was what she seemed ta be, old man."
He launched forward, punching me into my stomach multiple times. If the Irish brotherhood members didn't hold me then and there, I would crumble down to the floor.
"All right, let's get tha answer otherwise. Sullivan, hand me tha gurl." My eyes snapped open, when I saw the old man dragging Fiona with him. Corallee struggled at Sullivan's side to stay, streaks of hot tears flowing from her eyes. "Don't.... don't hurt her..." I breathed out. "Then work with ma, tell ma what ya know!"
Locking eyes with Corallee again I pleaded silently for forgiveness. "I don't know! I don't work for them anymore... don't ha' any contacts... I couldn't give ya what ya want, because I don't know shite!" I said calmly.
"Alright." All of us looked at him. He took Fiona in a hug and after he pulled away he kissed her forehead. Fiona was trembling for fear, crying vehemently. "I am sorry gurl." He let go of her and she stumbled in Corallee's direction.Relief washed over my face, when I realized that son of a bitch pulled out a gun and aimed at Fiona.
"NOOOO!", I yelled.
Fiona went down like a wet rag. He put a bullet into her head, she was dead in an instant. Corallee's face, now decorated with blood of one of her best friends, started screaming and sobbing in agony.
Sullivan held her close, shocked what his father just did."YOU SON OF A BITCH! SHE'S INNOCENT!", Crazy yelled and tried to put up a fight.
My father in law turned to me again, wearing a wicked grin. "So, lad, now tell ma everything ya do know... or yar gurl is the next!"
