Yes! I know, I know! This may sound incest but I swear to God this isn't! In this version I made North and South childhood BFFs. South may be older than North but North is WAAAYYYY more serious than South and always wears her uniform- well not always. And yep, you read it right- they are both female so this basically means this oneshot has a lesbian ship involved. I just wanted to try out a lesbian ship and support not only gays, trans, bi, etc, but also lesbians- I support LGBT, of course I have to! And besides, there are more gay and straight CH stuff than lesbian.
Anywitz, into the storyyyyyy! (This is for all the lesbians, and what-not! Enjoy uwu)South Korea- 18
North Korea- 18
__________________________________Finally. Finally, at last.
The war is over, and North is free. Finally free from that wicked piece of shitty communism.
I got my best friend back.
My dear childhood best friend.
When we got North back, she wasn't really the same. She was cold as ice. As if ice had froze her heart, and her soul.
She would stay in her house and not come out. Whenever I would visit her, she would still act as if she was still frozen, drowned in ice.
But as the years went by, her cold heart and soul melted away, piece by piece. I didn't even know that, as I stopped visiting her.
Until she became a completely new person, ready to start her life all over again.
I wonder, what made her change?
...
I was just walking in the local park (that's about 5 kilometres away from my home) with my favorite earphones on, listening to BlackPink's latest song.
I decided to take a seat in one of the benches after taking a walk. So that's what I did.
Feeling bored, I started to play on my phone. Well, for a bit. That's when I heard shouting.
"Hey!"
"Hey, asshead!"
I paused my music, looking up.
"North." I said, blankly. Obviously, I was expecting this- she loved the park, and that was one thing that never changed about her. I remember the time when she begged her mother to go to the park back when we were kids. I missed those times. Those were the times before that happened.
The expression on her face clearly said 'save a spot for me, bitch', so I patted on the space next to me. She sat down, on the far edge of the bench. I then removed my headphones.
Then there was awkward silence. It was so silent, you could hear the laughs and cheers from the children nearby, and the soft, chilling wind. It is the autumn season, after all.
Breaking the awfully awkward silence, I started to strike up a conversation.
"So, you still haven't changed ever since, huh?" I said, turning to North. She turned around and glared at me. I put my hands up, as a sign of surrender, although I meant it as a joke, laughing. North just glared at me and then whipped her head around the opposite direction, saying "It's not funny, South."
I could've sworn I saw a slight blush on her face. Probably embarrassed? "I see you still hold a grudge against me." I say, moving closer to her.
North sighs. A sigh which was clearly filled with...frustration and stress. She then nods her head furiously. "Yep, I still hate you."
"C'mon, North, freshen up a bit! The war has ended, and that onion's gone-"
"Don't. You. Dare. Call. Soviet. An. Onion." North glares at me again, this time literally taking out a pocket knife. I laughed.
But then everything went silent again, only for a few moments. "Soviet may be harsh, but he's concerning and caring too, you know." North stated.
"He was my greatest mentor, although I had to suffer to prove that I'm worth living for."
I sighed. I then took North's hand, holding it.
"North, you are already worth living for. I've literally missed you for god knows how many years already, and I've waited for this day to come. The day that we would reunite." I said, looking into her eyes. They were wide open, and it looked like tears were about to flow out. Christ, I haven't even noticed she took off her eyepatch, revealing her red eye. They go together with her blue one, they're so beautiful.
Before I could even realize it, shaking arms wrapped around me. North was bringing me closer to her, basically hugging me. She was shaking, and tears came spilt from her eyes.
"South......
Thank you."
_________________________________Oh my goodness, you guys, I deeply apologize for not posting that long! I got distracted and was too busy about......stuff.
Btw, no pun intended. You know what line I mean.
You know, I really wish North Korea would be free from their president and at least maybe reunite with South Korea! TwT
Also, the narration was South Korea's, in case you guys didn't know. And if you guys wanted a BL or straight version of this ship, just feel free to tell me! I'd be more happy to do so!
Sorry if the oneshot is short, I was trying my best to grab deeper inspiration. But in the end, I was pretty proud of the oneshot!
Anyhow, thanks to you all sOOOOOOOOO much, this book has reached 1K! EEEEEEEK! I LOVE YOU ALL!
