It was now 5:00- America's shift was finally done. America walked out of the building with his bag as he stretched.
"Ah! Finally, my shift is over! Now I can get home and eat some burgers!" America exclaimed.
As he walked down the road leading to the park (which was near his house), he whistled with joy, feeling quite cheerful today. But when he got to the park, he stopped and felt a waterdrop on his face.
That's when he realized it was raining. Raindrops were falling, beautiful raindrops. The people ran and were able to find shelter, but America just stood there, getting wet, adoring the rain.
"But I don't even have an umbrella...better go now before I get sick." America thought out loud to himself. Before he could even move, though, he felt the rain no more.
Yes, it was still raining, but it didn't touch America- he wasn't feeling any raindrops no more. He looked above him and saw a navy umbrella.
"Huh?" The American said as he turned around. He saw...
"Russia? What are you doing here?" America says as he turns around.
"Hey. I just saw you, and I thought you would need some help getting back home, because...you know...you don't have an umbrella." Russia explains, smiling.
"Thanks, Rus! But you know, you didn't have to do that."
"Welp, I had to anyway, and plus, I wanted to."
The two walked all the way to America's house together. They were talking and laughing throughout the walk. At the time they were there, America said his thanks to Russia.
"Thanks again, Russia, I really enjoyed being with you." Says America, smiling. He was about to get inside the apartment when-
"Ame, wait! I...forgot to give you something." Russia then starts rummaging through his bag, while America approaches him.
"Here." Russia handed America a heart-shaped box. Inside was a box of brown chocolates on one side and white chocolates on the other.
"Oh! It is Valentine's Day...." America exclaimed, disappointed. He was disappointed that it was Valentine's and forgot to get a gift for everyone(even though there were clearly hearts all over his office, he thought Valentine's was going to be the next day).
"I'm sorry I was unable to get you a gift. How about I'll just get one today?" America says, smiling.
'He sure is positive...He smiles a lot, plus they are really beautiful smiles...' Russia thought.
"No, no need." Russia smiled along with America. "Huh? Why?" America asks in confusion.
Russia bends down to until he had the same height as America, and kissed him on his cheek.
"E-Eh?!"
"It's alright, because having you with me is alright." Russia says, smiling at America before walking away.
"Happy Valentine's Day, Ame. I love you."

Ugh I know this was very, very, very late but I had to post something for Valentine's Day; I missed it!
I was about to write a Valentine's Day collection, but I was too late to do that, so just have RusAme instead.
Very belated Valentine's, everyone! (TwT)
