6. CHOOSE

"I, Kim Seokjin, an Alpha accepts you again, Kim Taehyung as my mate."

Seokjin was expecting something grand, like all those sparks of their mating bond to come back and bring him frenzy but all he got was nothing.

"I, Kim Seokjin, an Alpha accepts you again, Kim Taehyung as my mate." Seokjin repeated again and again for a couple of times.

"What's happening?!"

"I don't know, Seokjin. I didn't rejected you, right? It's only you who had rejected our bond. Maybe it's because you're not sincere and it's just a spur of the moment."

Seokjin furrowed his brows. Not sincere? He is sincere! He wanted Taehyung to be his again even if that means parting ways with Jungkook.

They're mates afterall.

"I'm sincere! I want you again. I want you to be my mate again. Days and days of watching you and I'm very certain that I wanted you again. It just dawned to me that I really want you but what I said is sincere. I tried to deny it a lot of times but ... I really do want you. I regret the day that I rejected you and abandoned you and our child. I regretted not being the mate you deserve.

You might not believe me but I don't speak this lengthy and what I'm saying is true."

Taehyung carefully hears and looks at Seokjin's every expressions and everything he says looking for any signs of deciet but surprisingly there is none. But for him, it's hard to trust him after what he had done.

"You're not serious, right? You're just making me believe you and hurt me afterwards, aren't you?"

Seokjin heard Taehyung and seeing how Taehyung's eyes accused him and still had fear visible in it, Seokjin just heaved a sigh, he had caused this to himself he needs to bear the consequences.

"Don't look at me like that, please. I'm saying the truth. I admit I did had a plan to make you fall in love with me and dump you right after but staying with you here and being away from everyone, knocked some sense to me. Mates are mates and I need you as much as you needed me. I might not love you like how you wanted to be loved but that can be worked out right? The moon goddess won't allow us to be mates if we won't love each other in the future."

"But, aren't you just doing it to, I don't know? Hurt me and make me lose my child? What about Jungkook? You love him and only him. You said that yourself. Aren't you going to leave me behind and abandon me again when time comes that he needs you and wants you to be his mate? You can clearly do that again. I don't want to be hurt again so please, don't do this. I will stay away from you just help me with my pregnancy, you don't have to do that to me. You don't need to always hurt me. I know my place in your life. I'm just no one and you won't give me any mercy. All you want is Jungkook."

Taehyung cried again. He can't take being played with. He doesn't want to experience pain again and again. Especially when it comes from Seokjin.

He had loved the man since god knows when and he had wished for him to be Seokjin's mate and when it was granted, he experienced hell.

"No, no, Taehyung. I'm serious. I will be a father to our child. I won't be having Jungkook as my Luna. It's you."

"How can I be sure that what you are saying is true? Did you know that my wolf had died so there's no one to guide me whether should I believe you or not."

Seokjin wiped his tears and looked at him straight to his eyes.

"I'm sorry it's my fault that you have gone through that. Please let me make it up to you for all eternity and I promise I'll be the best Alpha for you."

Taehyung can't even decide what to do anymore. He wants to believe him but he needs to be cautious too.

"I -"

But before Taehyung could speak the door opened, Seokjin saw Jimin came in.

"Taehyung, I'm Park Jimin and you're my mate and I am not sharing you with that Alpha!"

Taehyung looked at Jimin who is just standing beside their bed not doing anything except balling his fist and never leaving his sharp gaze towards Seokjin.

Seokjin on the other hand tighten his embrace on Taehyung's body. He won't let the Omega go especially with Park Jimin.

"Mate? Me? With you?" Taehyung asked.

"Yes. Since our mates has rejected us the gods gave us another chance to be mated. So if I were you, reject that Alpha and be with me. You can give him your child when he will be born and after that let's forget any trace of them in our lives and live far away from here."

"No! I won't let you do that!" Seokjin growled at Jimin.

Taehyung was still bewildered but slowly is getting what's happening between the three of them.

"Is that why you're acceptance of me was not getting validated because I had another mate? Is that it?"

Taehyung looked at Seokjin. He can't imagine being stuck in this kind of situation this is just getting worst.

"He accepted you again!? That's bullshit! Leave that Alpha now! Be with me! I'll give you the life you deserve I-"

"Shut up, Jimin!" Seokjin cuts him off.

"Yes, Taehyung. I guess that's the reason. Now it's up to you. You need to choose between us."

"Choose me!" Jimin said.

Taehyung looked back and forth between the two Alpha's.
