Darian was nervous. He was taking Vivian on their first fancy date, well, he was taking them to prom. He couldn't tie his tie, and, to no ones surprise, neither of his dads could either. So he walked to the door of the Warfstache house, and slowly knocked on the door. It opened to reveal Dark. "Hello, Darian, you look lovely." Darian gave a nervous smile, before Dark had taken ahold of the tie that was hanging around his neck undone. "Here..." he tyed it quickly before moving Darian in front of a mirror so he could see. He looked good. His white button up shirt with the black overcoat, and a yellow tie that gave the right pop of color. His black hair which was usually fluffy and out of control, was jelled back nicely. He sighed softly, looking back at Dark.

"Thank you." Dark nodded.

Vivian, was having a nightmare upstairs. They spent three hours washing the dye out of their hair, returning it to its midnight black color, now it was brushed neatly, resting against their forehead. And Wilford, was attempting to do Vivian's makeup, but they were making it hell on earth. "It's not too girly, sweetheart. The color will look lovely with your dres-"

"Whatever, Just hurry." Vivian crossed their arms as Wilford applied a pale yellow eyeshadow and a tiny bit of eyeliner. He highlighted their cheeks with glitter and finally, a pale pink gloss.

The dress, was a whole different kind of difficult. They agreed on wearing a dress (only because Darian said he's never seen them in one) but were now having second thoughts. The dress was a pale yellow, going down past their feet in the back, but only about mid thigh in the front. The top part was more of  a yellow lace, with spaghetti straps. Wilford wasn't too happy about the amount of skin at first but finally agreed. They paired it with black flats. And..they were ready. They should be, they looked great but...

Wilford hugged his kid, holding them close. "You look lovely, everything's going to be fine." They nodded softly before something hit them.

"My earrings don't match." They quickly took the stars out, then the three cartilage piercings on both sides, putting them up, before Wilford came back with two black studs, when the light hit them they had an almost rainbow effect.

"These were Darks, he stopped wearing them though." Vivian carefully put the earrings in before pecking Wilford on the cheek.

"Thank you, Dad." Wilford smiles, before helping Vivian go downstairs.  Darians jaw literally dropped once he saw them, Dark elbowed him lightly and he stood up a little straighter.

"Uh- hi, Viv. You look...wow." Vivian chuckled lightly, hugging Darian, they whispered something to him, he gave a small nod, pecking their cheek, before pulling a small box out of his pocket, inside was a corsage of yellow and white petals, he carefully put it on their wrist. Vivian smiled, thanking Darian before going and hugging Dark.

"Thanks for helping him with the tie." They whispered, before smiling for the pictures and going outside.

Wilford stopped Darian before he followed, grabbing the young teens shoulder and whispering. "You're going to give them your coat jacket, and if anybody else so much as looks at them, you tell me." Darian nodded with a look of slight fear before taking his suit jacket off, wrapping it around Vivian's shoulders before sitting in the car with them.

"They're growing up, Darkey." Wilford said, watching the car drive off, holding his husbands hand.

"I know..."

"You want another one don't ya?" Dark smiled fondly, shaking his head softly.

"I'm happy this way."

"Me too."
