"You're going to have to tell him eventually." Valerie said in a hushed whisper, leaning closer to her twin. "He's not gonna believe that Alexa's just your 'friend' forever." Veronica contuined to ignore Valerie, still sketching out the view she got from looking out the window, nothing much just a couple of trees, Bens car and the gate. "You can't just ignore me, you have to tell dad-"

"Tell Dad What?" Mark interrupted leaning against the doorway of the room, effectively blocking any way out.

"Uh, Uh, uh that-" Valerie was interrupted by Veronica covering her mouth.

"Tell Dad That..." Veronica went silent, not saying anything.

"I'm waiting." Mark said, dashing an eyebrow as he waited for one of the girls to speak up.

"I gotta girlfriend, Alexa." Mark was silent for a moment before nodding.

"She seems like a good kid, does she make you happy?" Veronica nodded. "Alright, if she ever hurts you let me know." And with that Mark was back in his office.
