The next morning we had to go to Fort Lauderdale. We spent one day there, during that one day a lot happened.
It all started when we woke up, it took us 30 minutes to get ready. It takes about 30 minutes to get from Miami to Fort Lauderdale so we got there at around 9:30.
When we arrived at the hotel we spotted a lot of teenagers there were guys, girls, pretty girls, hot guys, and really hot guys. Mom and Dad wanted to have family bonding time so we all went to the beach.
Near the beach there were little clothing and jewellery shops. All the girls headed straight to the clothing stores. While Cameron and Dad went to the arcade. There wasn’t much in the stores but still there were really cute bikinis, their dresses were also really pretty and wraps to go over a bathing suit. We tried on a whole bunch of clothes, we had decided which ones look good but we needed our mom’s approval and money so we went to go find her. She was with Jade trying on shoes. on the second floor of the little shop.
While we were trying on dresses and bikinis, we were undecided on the ones we had on until this one girl randomly walked up and said, “That looks really good on you guys!”
Mom, being a typical mother, asked, “Are you sure? It's not too short?”
“No. It looks great! Oh sorry, this must be really awkward! Hi, I’m Lexi. Lexi Ross.”
She stuck out her hand as if to shake our hand.
“I’m Juliet, but most people just call me Jules and this is my sister Calleiygh-Carrie also known as Cal or C-C. That’s our mom, Morgan.”
After we bought the bikinis and dresses Mom gave us some money and left, we went to the next store, a souvenir gift shop, with Lexi. Suddenly Lexi walked away and started talking to this cute guy; he had a blond Justin Bieber haircut and blue eyes. Total hottie.
“Who is Lexi talking to, Cal?”
“I don’t know! Do I look like a mind-reader to you?” I said sarcastically.
“Hahaha! Ya! You’re funny!”
“I know. Thank you for understanding my sense of humour. It’s much appreciated.”
As she walked back to us with her cute friend they seemed to be arguing.
“Hi guys! I’m back! Although I came back with a pest.”
“I’m not a pest, my name is Luke. I’m her twin.”
“Twins?!?!?!? Oh my god!” Juliet exclaimed flabbergasted.
“You’re twin is hot, Lexi!” I whispered in her ear.
“Thanks.” Luke answered mocking my whispering, everyone started to laugh, and I guess my whispering wasn’t actually as quiet as I thought. “What’s your name?”
“Calleiygh-Carrie and this is my sister, Juliet.” I told him amused.
“What are you doing here in Fort Lauderdale?” he asked
“We’re going on a 3 year cruise. What about you guys?” Jules declared.
“SAME!!! Oh my god, we might be on the same boat.” Lex answered thrilled.
“Where are you guys staying in the meantime?” I asked with a smile on my face.
“The All-Star Palms Resort,” she looked back at my humongous smile, “I’m guessing you’re in the same hotel.”
We smiled and nodded, then all burst out laughing.
At around 2:30, we took a trolley back to the hotel and during the trolley ride we introduced each other to the others family. Turns out Lexi and Luke have a brother and sister too, the same ages as Jade and Cameron, a brother, Jake who is about 16 and brother Josh who is absent. While me and Jules made new friends so did our siblings they were pretty happy about that.
