The next morning, we were waiting outside next to the Carnival Freedom to get in to the check-in area Juliet was teaching Jade how to play patty-cake, it was absolutely hilarious showing her where to put her hands and when though she just wanted to grab Juliet’s nose. Cameron video taped them for about 30 minutes, and she still doesn’t know how to play.

“Rrrrrrrr!!! I’m so frustrated! Jade doesn’t even know how to play patty-cake! I mean really! The blind can even learn how to play this game! It’s simple, EXTREMELY SIMPLE! RRRRRRRR!!!!” she shrieked.

“Keep your voice down! People are starring at you!” I whispered, “Quiet! It’s fine she can learn patty-cake some other day. It’s O.K. She’s fine; she’s not mentally retarded or anything. Calm down! O.K.?” she nodded, “Take a deep breath! In and out!”

We gave each other a hug and she murmured in my ear, “You’re going to help me, teach her how to play patty-cake. Thank you!”

I just starred at her cross eyed in sort of a disappointed face. Soon thereafter we had to take a photo for like photo I.D. or something, Juliet and I hadn’t put on any make-up today because we had to wake up at like 4 a.m. too early in the morning. So we had really bad photo I.D. pictures that would stay with us for a year because our mom told us they change it every year because our faces change they won’t stay the same for 3 years we are going to evolve, meaning our faces too.

Once on the boat the first picture was taken right at the entrance, Jade was crying because she dropped her pacifier on the floor for the reason that she was told to smile and it fell out of her mouth. I wasn’t my turn to hold her it was Juliet’s. Hahaha sucks to be her! Though Cameron was giving me bunny ears behind my head well trying and not achieving his goal, he is short and 6; I’m 13 and pretty tall for my age, so his bunny ears were hidden by my back.

As a family, we all waked around the ship to get the feel of our new home for the next 3 years; the ship was humongous absolutely like a monster ship, bigger than the 3 Titanic ships put together.

At 4:30, in the afternoon, dad went to sign us up at groups that Carnival organizes, these are the clubs: Camp Carnival, Circle C and Club O2. Camp

Carnival is divided into 3 groups: Kids Camp for the 2 to 5 year olds, Kids Camp Sr. for the 6 to 8 years old, Camp Carnival 9 to 11.

Circle C is for teenagers between the ages of 12 and 14 and Club O2 is for pre-adults the ages 15 to 17. We were going to be in Circle C for another year and then we will finish at 16 in Club O2. Dad had to sign a lot of papers and forms to sign us in it took really long since you had to write any physical disabilities or allergies the child had. Since we are four and have a lot of issues, it took a while but it was finally over at 5:15.

That night we went to the dining room at 6:15 to eat at the Posh dining room the food was very chic and elegant, the waiters were foreign with weird accents, extremely hard to understand. Juliet had to repeat everything they said.

“I really hope,” pleaded Juliet, “That you learn to understand the waiter’s accents. It will be extremely annoying if I have to repeat everything they say.”

“I’ll try,” I answered, taking a spoonful of my chick pea soup, “but I’m not promising anything. Oh! Are we going to the meet and greet at Circle C, tonight? We are going to be here for 3 years we should at least meet some friends. I don’t want to be that loner kid that just stays around with her parents all day. No offense, but I really don’t want to be caught…”

“I know,” she interrupted, “You don’t want to be caught with Mom and Dad all day it’s embarrassing. Neither I want to be caught with them either. We will be there at 8 o’clock in Circle C.”

        I smiled.

“You’re welcome, Cal!” Juliet replied sarcastically.

“Thx, Juliet. Love ya!” I reclined even more sarcastically.

She smirked. Our main course came, I had steak. Medium bloody was the way I had it cooked. I like it bloody but no to much or else it just looks like the animal never died and it will start moving on my plate. It looks really gross it's like they didn’t even cook it. They just slapped it on your plate and gave it to you. Nasty!!! Juliet had some weird vegetarian lasagne thing with A LOT of greens!!! There was like spinach and other yucky stuff. After the main course, the dessert menu arrived, I had apple pie with a scoop of ice cream on it and Juliet had a melting hot fudge cake thing with ice cream on top.

After dessert, we left to the room to touch-up. At 7:30, we started to head to Circle C on Deck 4, our room was on Deck 2 on the other side of the ship, we are on the forward dock side and Circle C is in the middle of the ship between dock and port side and between forward and back side it was directly in the middle.

Once we got there, we had to sit down on couch thingies and talk about ourselves. I was the 5th person that he asked questions to, right after my sister. “What’s ya name?”

“Calleiygh Peterson.” I responded.

“How old you ya, bra? When you born?”

“I was born January 17th, 2000. I’m 13 years old.”

“Where are ya from?” he questioned.

“Miami.”

“Do you have any like bras or bros? If ya, you know names, ages, details bra?”

He hadn’t asked that question to Juliet only me, so I answered. “I have one brother Cameron he’s 6. My youngest sister Jade is 1 and ½. My other sister,” I said pointing to Juliet, “Is Juliet. You already know her age so it would just be redundant if I said it again.”

“You’re sisters? You don’t even look alike! You white; she like Asian or somethin. I’m just like what bra, that’s all, not to be racist or nothin. I hate racists you know cuz I’m a black man. You feel me, bra? Don’t be trippin or nothin!”

“I’m adopted, bro. Ya feel me!” Juliet responded mocking Dean, the activities co-ordinator.

“Ah yeah! I feel ya bra! Dude you got balls comin mockin a black man! I like you and you ok too bra.”

He gave me and Juliet a fist pump moreover he started to ask the others some questions.

After we went to the 70s Disco Club, once at the entrance of the club we were told to line up. While we were in line we were approached by a couple people but all of them were very rude, or very perky.

I was sort of losing faith until Ie saw our friends from Florida. I nudged  and pointed in their direction so Juliet would look. We were so ecstatic to see them! It hadn’t been that long but still it was nice to see them. Luke, Brianna and Lexi were so much fun to hang around with!!! We spent the first hour with Circle C in the 70s Disco Club.

That night, Luke convinced us to go watch him play basketball. Wewent to let him have some guy time. We sat on the side of the of the court watching the game. It wasn’t as bad as we thought there were some guys there. They were hot!!  Really nice abs. They were 10 players; there were 3 who looked really, familiar excluding Luke of course, so we all walked down to get a better look.

Juliet was the first to start running; she ran in to some guys arms and started to make-out with him. I was so confused! Until Hunter turned around everything cleared up. The 3 guys were on the same boat as us. Lexi jumped into Austin’s arms, he spins her round and round and round, just like in the movies.

I just met Hunter halfway across the court and I told him, tearing up, “I hate you!”

“No you don’t!” he said right before kissing me.
