Now, my story!
Sergeant Frank Jérome
Frank Narcisse Jérome of Quebec fought in World War I and was one of Canada's best soldiers. He is a Mi'kmaq from Gaspé Peninsula and enisted in the army in June 1916. Later that year, he sailed overseas. Jérome fought in France and in Belgium with the 14th Battalion. He was exceptionally brave in the battlefield of Western Front and became one of the 39 Canadians who recieved the Military Medal three times during World War I. Jérome rose in the rankings and became a sergeant and even though he was wounded, he survived and returned home in 1919.
