Chapter 6 FYZM

-Skylar-

"I'll see you soon, then?" Delilah smiled, trying to hide the feint frown that was dying to appear on her thin lips. I nodded, not wanting to let my best friend go, and softly brushing my hand across her shoulder. I could feel the cold winter wind brush across my skin, making me shiver at the thought of the walk back to the tour bus, dreading the lack of heat I was about receive. Delilah's hair was blowing gently in the thin air, while her tired self yawned, letting a tear drip from her beautiful bright eyes.. "You'll see me soon, Delly.. I promise. This tour will be done before we both know it, and then its time for you to come on mine." I smiled softly, leaning over and gently pressing my lips towards her forehead. My best friend meant everything to me, and if that meant holding her hand and kissing her forehead just to show how much I cared for her, then so be it. She slowly leaned towards me, holding her arms out without any hesitation at all, and softly placed her arms around my waist, bringing me into one of her warm and affectionate hugs that I adored. "I promise you we will Skype," I murmured in her hair while I hugged her back tightly, enjoying the last hug I would get from my best friend for 3 months. My stomach churned in hurt and pain at the thought of loosing my best friend for that long.. After Zayn left, Delilah was the only person to actually keep me sane.. She was the only person I had left to take my feelings out on.. She understood me. And being trapped in a tour bus with 5 boys that I disliked, and one of them I was truly in love with, doesn't help my situation at all. "I know.. I love you, Sky." She whispered, hugging me tighter and sighing, her cheeks turning a slight pink at the chilly weather that was approaching us. "I know. I love you too, Delly." I smiled, pulling away slowly and gripping her had reassuringly. "Now go back inside before you get sick!" I demanded, chuckling and letting go of her cold and pale hand.. She smiled faintly, before nodding slowly and walking up the steps to the hotel.."Bye, Sky." She spoke, before opening the hotel entrance door, and slipping her small figure inside quickly, rubbing her arms and supplying some warmth. I smirked, my stomach churning knowing I wouldn't see her for a long time, and whispering; "Bye, Delly.."

The wind brushed my appearing skin, letting shivers slowly make its way down my back at the thought of actually freezing to death out here in the cold, but being the brave person I am and pushing my way through the terrible brutal winter wind. I was in the bad part of the city, not liking the looks that a lot of people I hadn't recognized were giving me, and trying my hardest to look away in fear of getting injured by the thoughts of what these people are thinking. The feint smell of whiskey and beer filled my nostrils as I passed a bar filled with piling people, and alot of drunken men that were stumbling in, and tumbling out. My phone was dinging uncontrollably with texts in my pocket, rather irritating me, while I sighed and kept walking, not wanting to awnser any messages for once.. Just wanting to enjoy the quiet time I had while it lasts.. I walked at a bit more of a faster pace, trying my hardest to not make any eye contact with the staring people around me, and only staring straight ahead, focused on nothing..

I crossed the empty street, only letting my gaze fall on an empty playground. The equipment was worn out and vandalized, while the benches along it were full of inappropriate sayings and writings.. There was four oak benches sprawled along the playground, one in particular catching my eye, As a young looking boy took a seat on it, burying his head in his hands and letting it sit there while his chest moved up and down unsteadily, looking almost as if he was crying.. I felt a pang in my heart for the boy, and let my feet take me towards the bench, my feet crunching the packing snow underneath my coconut coloured 'Ugg' boots, feeling a bit of wetness in my socks at the lack of dryness the snow in my boot supported. I slowly sat down beside the boy, keeping my distance, and softly sighing, scared of what the boy might hold.. He looked awfully familiar. His hair was in some sort of quiff, his olive skin suddenly reminded me of Zayn, putting butterflies in my stomach, and his varsity jacket connected him with what looked like Zayn somehow.. His white and blue Nike's stood out in the darkness, reminding me of Zayn's favourite shoe brand, making my lips turn upwards at the thought of all the Nike's I had bought him 5 years in a row.. "Are you alright?" I asked quietly, keeping my space between us, knowing maturely about my safety rules. At this point, All I wanted to do was to comfort someone, and this boy seemed like he needed it. The unknown boy shifted uncomfortably, before rubbing his eyes quickly and slowly lifting his head up from his palms, revealing his face..
