Chapter 13 FYZM

- 3 days later-
"Bye mum," I weakly smiled, tears brimming my eyes as I felt her hands buckle around my waist.
She'd only been here for three days, but it felt as if it had only been twenty four hours. I could feel the pain that mother had as her hands caressed the back of my hand smoothly, and the small breaths that drew from her mouth and smacked me in the neck.
"I love you," she sniffled, her small gasp of hair tickling the middle of my shoulder. She was shorter than me by only inches, but I still looked up to her. She was my inspiration. She was the reason I was here today, pursuing my dreams. She was the only woman I could let all my feelings out too, and know that I wouldn't be judged. After all, that's what mothers are for, right? I was blessed to have such a great person in my life, and knowing the lack of times I get to see her a year kills me.
"I love you too, mum. So much." I whispered, cuddling closer to her and breaking the distance between us.
Soon, mum broke away from me timidly, tears streaming down her crimson cheeks.
"I'll see you soon, yeah?" I mustered a smile, leaning over and gently attaching my lips to my mums cheeks.
"See you soon, Sky." Mum nodded, her fingers softly brushing my tear stained cheeks. I cherished her touch, keeping the feeling to myself the best I could before it disappeared. I kept my eyes closed shut, trying my best to be strong. The airport felt empty at this time, and the only thing I could hear was my mothers footsteps becoming distant and fading.
Soon, I couldn't hear anything anymore, except the loud sound of an attendants voice blaring through the speakers of the airport. "Flight 129 to London, England boarding now. Last call for London, England boarding now."
With those words, I felt my chest tighten and my tears vanish.
"You're Skylar Bennett!" I heard a small feminine voice call from inches away from me. The voice sounded so young and soft, and so innocent and carefree. Kind've reminded me of the days when I was young ..
A small smile crept onto my lips at the thought of another young fan. My eyes slowly fluttered open, and within seconds, two small and delicate arms plunged toward my legs, wrapping them around tightly.
"Hello, sweetie," I giggled, my voice cracking from the rawness that stained the back of my useless throat.
I glanced at the young girl holding my legs, studying every inch of her like the usual thing I did with my fans. They all seemed so different and unique. It fascinated me.
Her stone grey eyes pierced through mine as she stared up at me, hope and joy filling her small orbs. Her ringlets of curls bounced up and down as she excitedly rocked on her knees. The bright pink bow held the bangs of her hair together, her innocence flying around her petite body.
Behind her stood her mother, fading blonde hair and eyes green as grass. The bags under her mothers eyes signalled that she seemed worn out and tired. Something like I was only days before my mum visited me.
"I love you!" She exclaimed happily, a bright grin dancing on her lips proudly.
I giggled, leaning down on my knees to her height level.
"Well, I love you too!" I chuckled, pulling her small hand into my own and clutching it soothingly.
She became ecstatic from the gesture, glancing back at her mum in joy.
"What's you're name, babe?" I smiled, rubbing my thumb across the small and delicate skin of her palm.
"Lacey Ramsey!"
