Four years later
"How about bringing a date tonight?"
I smirk over at Jimin and shake my head, I wasn't going to bring some poor guy I didn't know to a party for Yoongi. It would be...weird.
"It's because of him right? Y/n how many times do I have to tell you this isn't healthy...you need someone....and he clearly has moved on and you need to as well"
I frown a little as I think about Yoongi and his girlfriend. Sure they had been together for a year now, the longest relationship he has ever had but something told me to hold on.
"I'm serious babe, you need to start dating. You can't wait around for him forever and you need to stop running to him every time he calls it's pathetic if I'm being honest and again not healthy!"
"I don't run to him every time he calls"
Jimin rolls his eyes and as much as I try to dismiss his nonsense I know he's telling the truth. But I was his best friend we always turn to each other it's just...what we do.
"Just bring a date tonight I have someone I've been dying to set you up with anyways. Prove to me that you can do this and I'll leave you alone for a week"
He raises a brow and I roll my eyes "Fine you can set me up tonight but no promises about dating him after. I know how you get" he laughs and claps his hands "Perfect be ready at nine I'll have him pick you up and I'll see you at Yoongi's party"

When I agreed to this whole date thing I didn't think Jimin would pick a decent guy. Most of the guys he hung around were a tad on the asshole side and not my type. But to my surprise this guy was totally up my alley.
He had dark long hair that framed his face nicely, dark brown eyes that drew you in but also gave off this cute innocent vibe which I was all for.
The only thing that made his eyes even more enduring was his eye smile, his nose did this scrunched up thing when he smiled a bit too wide. It made my heart do a thing let's just leave it at that.
His body though...
I wasn't one for a muscle head but damn did this boy have a body that instantly made my panties wet. Even under his all black tux you could see how toned and defined his muscles were, the only thing that through me was his age.
As he guides me into the party I couldn't help but feel the heat burning into my back from his gentle touch. I can feel it rising to my cheeks as I glance up at him, I inhale noticing just how close he is now. He's leaning down so that his lips are almost brushing against my earlobe.
"You look breathtaking, clearly everyone here agrees with me"
I blink a few times and try to ignore the tiny goosebumps forming on the back of my neck as I glance around and meet a few eyes.
"I'm pretty sure they are gawking at you"
He laughs a little and quickly shakes his head "Most definitely not" his hand gently touches my back again as we walk further into the party. I glance around and meet Yoongi's gaze, he raises a brow at me before turning away and reaching for his girlfriend.
I can feel myself getting worked up as I watch the two of them. Her perfect smile sparkles as she turns and meets Yoongi's embrace. Her arms wrap around his neck as they share an intimate kiss. I force myself to look away and do my best to enjoy the night. Despite feeling like I'm going to throw up.

"I knew it"
We both turn at the shouting voice behind us. Jimin.
"I knew you guys would look delicious together"
I roll my eyes as Jimin wiggles his brows at us and walks a little closer "Didn't I tell you Jungkook, my y/n is a looker and my god do you look gorgeous tonight"
I peak over and see Jungkook blush a little as he glances down at me, meanwhile Jimin decides now is a perfect time to practically motorboat me.
"The girls definitely came out to play"
Jungkook chokes on his drink as I swat at Jimin, which of course only makes him laugh loudly. He pats Jungkook's back and then we are met with another couple.
"Ah the man of the hour, great party as usual Hyung"
Jimin says before taking Leena's hand and placing a kiss to it. She giggles loving the attention, as i do my best to duck behind Jungkook. He senses I'm uncomfortable and moves closer to me, I feel his arm wrap around me. I glance up and he gives me a reassuring smile, I feel so grateful for this stranger in this moment.
"Y/n I didn't know you were babysitting tonight"
I break eye contact with Jungkook and glare over at my best friend. Jimin slaps his arm and he laughs "It was a joke calm down, I'm Yoongi and you are?"
"Jungkook"
I watch as the two shake hands and eye each other. I can already see that Yoongi hates him, maybe because he was taller than him? Who knows Yoongi dislikes every guy I bring around.
Although I rarely do bring anyone around the last guy I dated if you can even call it that was more than a year ago. It's safe to say I don't date....like at all.
"Nice to meet you, this is my girlfriend Leena"
I glance down at my feet not wanting to see Leena more than I have to. I always felt so insecure and intimidated by her, I hated to admit it but she may be the one person who may stand a chance at taking Yoongi away from me fully.
I can feel his eyes on me even though I'm still staring at the floor. I can also feel jimin's eyes on me as small talk seems to take place. I only look up when I feel a hand grip mine
