The sun shone brightly into my sphere. It's been a few years. I'm 15 now. I have grown into the lovely black night dress and am used to it now, sleeping in zero gravity, the various wires embedded into my back, keeping my hair tied with itself. No one cuts it anymore. Demo keeps me fed but lately, I don't want to eat. I let the food float around so Demo feeds nutrients through my tubes. The scientists told me it's all monitors and a way for Demo to keep me healthy, but they are chains, they keep me here, they keep me alive. But sometimes I wonder what would happen if I died. So tonight when the men all leave, I'm going to ask Demo what happens if I die.

I hold the big cord with my arm and pull myself up so there is plenty of slack under me.

"Demo, increase the gravity by 50% please?" I ask sweetly as I set myself up like I'm on a swing. The pull becomes stronger and I happily get some momentum by pumping my legs and chest forward and backward and soon I'm actually swinging. I giggle and the slack makes sure I'm not pulling on my neck. I smile for the first time this month and the chart shows a lot of things, mostly that I'm giving off more energy as I glow all blue and laugh more.

"You shouldn't be doing that Christian, don't want to hurt yourself! What if you fall and hurt yourself!? Then poor Demo has to fix you up!" One man snaps and I stick out my tongue.

"So?! She's like a mother to me, she would have no issue mending a little cut or bruise!" I snap back, continuing to swing, flopping over and swinging by my thighs.

"Christian please do be careful. I don't want you to be harmed at all, but you can still have fun." Demo kindly says, letting me swing and have fun.

"DEMO!! What are you doing! You are supposed to sustain her, not prompt her towards danger!" One of the head scientists yells.

"She is a good girl! Besides her mood drops so does the energy output, Do you want that Doctor Green?! NO, I know you don't. She is a child still, she needs to be allowed to have fun, I'm turning the zero gravity back on and giving her something to do, she can't sit around bored all day, the energy will trickle to a stop. So back off, I'm getting her something fun. She deserves to have fun." Demo's outburst shocks me and the man and he just nods and goes off to talk with the other men. The gravity is gone and I'm floating again. One of her arms comes down and helps me back onto the floating beanbag chair/bed.

"Here you go, dear. You can play all sorts of games, I'll get all the ones you want. Alright, Christian?" Demo says, handing me a small folded devise that I open and power up. It comes to life and lets me mess with the appearance of the silver electronic screen. I smile and pick a blue and black theme called 'demon fire' it just clicked with me and I set up a little avatar that looked like me, setting it in my lap a sec and pulling my hair back.

"Thank you Demo. Can I please have a hair tie?" I ask and a hand brings one down to me, gently pulling my dark blue hair back into an extremely long ponytail, and keeping it out of my face. I smile and pat the hand. I notice there was a game in here already 'Perkmon Star' it looks interesting and I start to make a little avatar. I smile and start playing, following the options and figuring out what buttons do.

"Demo I don't think a violent game is a good idea, she's only a child. I'm not sure this one is a good idea." Doctor Green says.

"She is 15, and it is a kids game, you train small creatures and help them grow up, they protect you and you feed and take care of them. It's a minor competition and fun with lots of interesting creatures and people. Just have a bit of Faith in me, Doctor. She will enjoy the games and the company is always coming out with new ones to add to the hundreds. She will enjoy them for a long time." Demo argues and for once, I don't care what the man said, I don't care what they are talking about. I was focused on the game.
