What does it feel like to have younger siblings?
Of course, it would be fantastic! Not just for me but also for my parents.
And my mother is pregnant with a baby girl! Hehe just like me! OMG, this is so exciting!
I can now finally have someone to play with, we would play dolls and dress up everyday!
Because it's so boring playing with myself.
But anyway, I can't wait for her to be born! Hehe!
YEY! Mom successfully gave birth to my little sister! OMG, I wonder what she looks like? Would she be just like Mom or Dad?
Gosh, I can't wait!
I went alone to the nursery room and since nobody is allowed to go inside- but only the nurse, I can only look at my little baby sister through the glass window.
OMG, she's soo cute!
She has cute fingers and feet! Her lips are pink and nose! It's straight and long just like mine! And her skin is white. Just like Snow White!
I couldn't stop the big smile to appear on my face as I gaze lovingly at my cute little sister. She's currently sleeping, not like the other baby who is wailing and crying.
I felt proud inside. I grin happily and continued looking at my sister through the glass window.
IT'S been 2 years since my little sister was born and since then, everything changed.
And when I mean everything, I mean everything. Literally.
Our house, our address, school address, the garden, cars, toys... our parents and... the treatment.
This year I am currently 15 years old but I already knew the meaning behind those changes.
Well nothing is really permanent and everyone needs to change once in a while... but not to the point of forgetting something that you once had.
Though I just brush it off since I know that my baby sister needs a lot of attention. Since she's still a toddler.
But sometimes, they would cross the line.
There were times-- especially on holidays, my little sister would get the most prettiest and expensive present. While me on the other hand, I would get a simple yet beautiful doll or either just a single dress.
There were also times when they would be so affectionate in front of me- during mealtime or some free time- they would never take notice of me. Even though I'm right in front of them- or even beside them.
They would be laughing so happily, giving off a bright and joyful atmosphere.
And I would just stay quiet and pretend that I didn't see them.
I'm still 15 years old but I can now control my emotions perfectly.
I STOOD up from my bed as I let out a soft sigh. It's been 3 years, and now I'm turning 18 this month and my little sister would be turning 5 years old... five days after mine.
And I already knew the outcome.
As I was descending on the stairs, I heard the bright laughter of my little sister. A small smile appeared on my lips. As I came into view, the small smile on my lips was gone. My expressionless face appeared once again. I only do this when I'm with them.
Because you know why.
I went to my seat and didn't even spare them a glance and started eating. And just like me, they also didn't spare me any glance and just continued laughing so happily.
