Thursday 8 August.

Freddie was leaning against his window sighing and looking at the garden, it had become a torture because Jim was not there. He had returned to Ireland to visit his parents and although the goodbyes been as warm as possible; the singer had almost reluctantly let him go. All this time spent without his presence had made him upset and his only occupation had been to pace  the house to try to clear his mind. Immersed in his thoughts, he hadn't heard his bedroom door open, it was Joe.

-Are you coming Freddie, he asked calmly.

-Why, answered the interested in a dull voice.

-Your group is going to relax in a nearby pub and they want you to accompany them.

-Tell them that I have to take Tiffany in the vet in a quarter of an hour, replied Freddie by way of refusal.

His ex smiled sweetly and went to stand behind his back wrapping his arms around him, he understood how unhappy the singer was and for good reason: Jim was a really good influence on him.

-Come on you need to get out a bit, and you know it won't work twice, the young man kindly indicated to him.

-Yes I know but it just, Freddie chewed his lower lip then huffed. I miss him so much dear...not being able to kiss him in the morning frustates me enormously.

-Hey I'm here, hummed Joe to make him smile.

The rockstar chuckled involuntarily then turned to face his ex.

-I'm serious goddamnit! Even my body claims his due!

-That's why it's all the more a good reason to spend time with your group, continued Joe gently. That way you won't see the time pass and your precious Jim will reappear more quickly in your arms.

Freddie's face lit, it's true that after all it wasn't a bad idea and then he really needed to breath a little bit. He hugged his ex before kissed him on the cheek.

-You're right Liza, I need some fun, he said more cheerfully.

The rockstar dressed in his jacket then disappeared down the stairs, once outside he paused for a moment to admire the garden. It was empty and although it could warm any hurt heart, it lacked a ray of sunshine: his sunshine, his man.

-And besides Freddie, called Joe from the bedroom window.

-What, responded the singer a little severely.

-Phoebe and I are going to do some shopping!

-At the pet shop I guess?

-Exactly! We're starting to run out of cat food, joked the young man even if his ex lover didn't find it very funny.

During  the afternoon.

-Take it easy Freddie, It's a pub there not a gay bar. It's best not to end up drunk.

-Oh come on Brian, replied the lead singer amazed to hear that. I have almsot two weeks to catch up!

The guitarist shook his head but like the other two here, he was very happy to see that Freddie had agreed to spend time with them. I had been long time since the four of them had been together for a drink without their manager Miami or other photographer too persistent. It was finally just a moment with friends.

-So Freddie, have you heard from Jim, asked Deaky.

-Yeah, he called me yesterday and he's scheduled to come home tomorrow morning.

-Oh great, exclaimed Brian. We'll drop by to say hello in the following days.

-Of course my dear, the singer nodded. The house is wide open.
