Friday 27 September, in the evening.
-Hurry up baby it's freezing, said Jim curling up in his collar.
His boyfriend didn't listen to him and remained motionless with his head turned towards the aisle, the Irishman had already noticed his strange behavior and moved closer to his shoulder.
-Freddie you've looking over your shoulder several times, his voice was very worried.
-I feel more and more that we are being followed, answered the eldest without turning around.
Jim stared at the aisle thoughtful, there was nothing except a few people walking with their heads down and the deafening noise of cars but when Freddie had a bad feeling; it was never a good sign.
-Come on let's go back, you scare me.
The singer let him drag him but he didn't have a clear conscience, all these chills running down his back were not due to the cold. His intuition was however right, something or rather someone watching them for several minutes.
-Why are we waiting for Paul? He is right within our reach.
-Not yet, I don't like this guy accompanying him at all, murmured Prenter biting his bottom lip.
-Let me go, I'll settle this with a snap, the young man emboldened.
-Don't be ridiculous! It's not Joe that you will have in front of you, replied the other man sternly.
-That piss me off, growled the youngest. To see him frolic with that big dumbass and live like a king...!
Paul remained very quiet and stroked his boyfriend's neck to calm him down.
-Soon that will change, Freddie is not going to stay with him for long.
-I hope so babe, whispered the youngest with a evil smile. With all my being.
-Come with me, it's only a matter of time now.
Back to Garden Lodge.
Freddie settled on the sofa caressing Oscar, he wondered where Peter can be. Those nights outings worried him more and more he felt like a prey waiting for his predator and he needed his protection. Jim come back from the kitchen to bring him some tea.
-There my love, it will do you good, he said softly.
-Thank you darling, responded the singer still anxious.
The Irishman settled next to him and tried to understand what was going on.
-Freddie you've be disturbed for a while, what's wrong?
-I already told you that I don't know, he sighed and took a sip. I just feel like I'm being followed.
-By who? Paul?
This name had come to him spontaneously and of course, his boyfriend didn't like it at all and he stared at him with his piercing gaze.
-Please don't say that name in front of me, he hissed venomously.
-Waiting may not be the right solution, you should talk to the police.
-Fuck the navy blues! If I have to be monitored 24 hours in a day, I might as well put a security guard at every bloody door!
-Don't get mad like that, huffed his man to try to calm him down. I'm just trying to find a solution.
-Keep them your solutions, I'll take care of this on my own.
Jim didn't answer because he didn't want an argument at such a time. He didn't mind that his boyfriend was so stubborn but in a case like this, he found him a bit too proud. After a quarter of an hour in the silence Freddie started to get restless, he couldn' find a comfortable position.
