Monday 24 December.

Jim stood firmly in the bedroom while waiting for Freddie, he was on edge because his boyfriend was having a good time with Kurt right in front of his nose and this morning he had caught them coming back from shopping, smiling without even paying attention to him. As soon as the door opened he bit his lips.

-Darling? Do you have something to tell me, asked Freddie calmly.

-What are you playing at, blurted out the the Irishman severely.

-Excuse me?

-Don't be innocent, you know what I'm talking about. Why are you hang out with the German all the time, he continued staring at him.

-I just make him feel comfortable, answered the singer. You scare him you know?

-And you went shopping with him without even telling me?

-It was useless, I knew you were gonna say no, he added smiling.

Jim was positively annoyed by his indifferent tone, he felt like a pawn in a game of chess that his boyfriend was leading like a king. Freddie knew his man was unhappy but he didn't do it for fun, performer as he was he had a plan in mind.

-If you want to let off steam at me do it Jim, he stretched out his arms widely. I've the impression you want to explode.

-Yes but I'm not going to explode over something so classic, the younger man dominated himself more than anything. But I'm warning you: tomorrow is Christmas and you better spend all your bloody time with me, he added bitterly.

-Of course my dear! I'll even get naked if you want, giggled the eldest.

The Irishman grabbed his collar and stared at him firmly, he had that glint of fury in his eyes and Freddie himself admitted it was quite impressive.

-I don't want to laugh Freddie, if you keep ignoring me this Christmas and this New Year will be without me, he affirmed with some conviction. And I'm more than serious...!

Jim left the bedroom with his face down to the floor, this conversation was far from having calmed him because his boyfriend was making fun of him and it was obvious. He felt hurt and hurt enough not to speak to him all afternoon until the next morning, preferring for the first time the company of cats to his.

December 25, 22h.

-Fortunately you're here Tiffany, sighed the Irishman with a sad voice. At least you cheer me up...

The cat rubbed against him purring softly, Jim was bored, as he had dreaded his boyfriend hadn't kept his promise. He spent more time chatting and laughing with Kenny and the other while he was lying on the couch watching TV.

-Jim, can I talk to you, a voice sounded now familiar.

-What do you want Kurt, asked his interlocutor clearly in a bad mood.

-I would like to give this to you as a reconcilation.

The other man sat down on the couch with a neutral look and unwrapped the present. The German gulped nervously, it was his last chance to redeem himself so he had put all his hopes in his gift.

-A lucky clover, wondered Jim raising an eyebrow.

-A real four leaf clover, explained Kurt. Freddie told me you were of Irish descent so I couldn't find better for you.

He didn't receive an immediate response and tried to decipher Jim's emotion, unless his eyes told him otherwise he thought he could see of the Irishman's first smirk towards him.
