Peter's P.O.V.

When we arrive at school, there are two of those yellow school buses you always see in movies standing in front of the entrance, our teacher and about half of our class next to them.

"Oh good, you're here" Mr.Harrison greats us the moment he notices we're here "The other half of your class is already in bus number 1, we are just waiting on mr. Thompson and we can get your part of the group into bus number 2"

I sigh and nod, before sitting down on the pavement. Wade, Ned and MJ sit down too and start to chat, and while I thrown in some thoughts I'm mostly thinking about Flash. Ever since Tony's death he's been a lot nicer to me, and he's also been a lot less present at school. Not that he's been missing a lot of days, he's just been late often and hasn't participated in class as much as he always did. Now was most of what he did in class was tormenting me, I'm still a bit worried about him.

"Okay guys, when I read your name you can go sit in the bus. We really need to get going." Mr.Harrison suddenly speaks up with an apologetic look on his face, pulling a list of names out of his jacket pocket.

We stand up and Wade intertwines his fingers with mine, smiling back at me when I flash a look his way. Mr. Harrison reads the names on the list in alphabetical order, so I know that I'm earlier than Wade on the list. Both MJ and Ned are before me though, so they'll keep our seats free, like they always do. Four seats in the back of the class, bus, room, whatever place we are in.

"Peter Parker" I smile and raise my hand to let him know that I am indeed present, and let go of Wade's hand. I get onto the bus and smile when I see Ned and MJ in the back of the bus with our seats saved. I sit down next to the window of mine and Wade's seat, and look out of the window, trying to see if Flash is still coming until Wade joins me.

"Hey" He whispers when he sits down, and I smile at him before tearing my gaze away from the window, and leaning my head against his shoulder. Mr. Harrison gets in too, and the doors just close when I see someone run our way.

"Wait, open the door!" I yell to get the attention of both the busdriver and the teacher, and point out of the window when Mr. Harrison raises his eyebrows at me. His eyes widen slightly and he gestures the driver to open the door, and Flash is panting when he gets in.

"Mr. Thompson"

Flash nods and tries to get his breathing under control before speaking, and when he does, it's an apology "I'm sorry Mr. Harrison, I accidentally slept through my alarm"

"It's okay Mr. Thompson, you should just thank Mr. Parker. If he hadn't seen you coming we would've left" I catch Flash's eye when Mr. Harrison says that, and flash him a look saying 'no big deal'. Flash walks up to the empty seat in front of me and Wade after receiving the programm from Mr. Harrison, and turn around to face me.

"Thanks Peter"

"It's no problem Flash, crank up the volume of your alarm for next time" I wink and lay my head beck on Wade's shoulder. He laughs and nods before turning back around, and I feel the gazes of my friends on me.

"What?" I don't even lift my head, and just proceed to look out of the window. When none of them speak I turn around, looking at all of them wondering what's wrong. "Did I do something wrong?" I'm really starting to get worried now.

"What? No, you didn't. Of course you didn't" Wade immediately reassures me, grabbing both of my hands in his.

"It's just-" MJ thinks for a moment before continuing "-you wouldn't have done that last year, and you know that" I laugh and nod, turning back around, fearing the moment we'll arrive at the tower. I know that the ride is about 20 minutes, so I just sit and wait while watching New York flash past the windows.

---------- (Name the time skip ;) ----------

We reach the tower 20 minutes later, and the entire group is nearly jumping through the roof of the bus from excitement at this point. I look at Wade and he nods, agreeing that we should wait until everyone is out of the bus until we get up. This way there won't be any pushing or pulling, and I smile when he gets what I'm implying with only a look.

When everyone is out of the bus, the four of us get up and walk out onto the sidewalk in front of the tower, and I immediately feel my anxiety kick in. If you really think about it, I haven't been here in nearly 5,5 years. Wade senses my discomfort too, and gives my hand a reassuring squeeze, while we walk to the entrance to catch up with the rest of the group.

Mr. Harrison comes back from the reception with a boy about my age, who introduces himself as Harley.

"Hello guys, my name is Harley and I'll be a part of your tour today. The first thing we need to do is go through security, and I'll explain the next part when we're all inside for real, okay?" His question gets answered with cheers from the group, and he laughs before turning around and gesturing us to follow him.

I know where we're going, but I never used this entrance before. Tony showed me this when he gave me a tour of the tower the very first time I was here, and then immediately told me that could use the 'Avengers and very close friends of them' entrance at the back.

When we get to the security gate, Harley turns around again and waits 'till the entire group has catched up with him before speaking up again. "You'll hear a level get called after your name when you go through security in a moment, and you'll get a badge with that level after you've been through security."

"What do the level's mean then?" Some guy I've never spoken to, and who I believe is called Connor, asks Harley.

"Oh yeah. There are 5 levels in total. All of them are colour-coded, and basically mean how much access you get throughout the tower. Level 1 is blue, and is for visitors and people who are only here once for business or something like that. You'll get level 1, because you'll be identified as 'Visitors". The other levels are orange, green, red and gold. Level 2, orange, is for suppliers and employees of the cafeteria and that kind of things. Level 3, green, is for the interns, scientist, and Avengers who aren't staying here permanently. Level 4, which is red, is for the Avengers who are indeed staying here permanently, and friends of the Avengers themselves. And level 5, The gold one, is for the Stark family, the doctors in the tower and a few very special persons to Mr. Stark, but those names are classified." He winks at the group before gesturing the first people to walk through, the scanners.

"Betty Brant, Level 1, Blue"

"Eugene Thompson, Level 1, Blue"

This goes on and on until only the four of us are left, and I'm shooting panicked looks Wade's way. I know which level I am, and it's not good. It's actually terrible. When our eyes meet I see that he realises the same thing. It's MJ's turn, and when she walks through JARVIS calls out "MJ Jones, Level 4, Red". And I realise that Tony made them level 4's when I started bringing them over to the tower often.

"Ned Leeds, Level 4, Red" The muttering of my class only gets worse, and then only me and Wade are left. He goes first, and I sigh when I hear "Wade Wilson, Level 4, Red"

How is that even possible? I didn't even know Wade 5 years ago, and that's when I realise that Pepper must've put him in the register. I need to go through security, so I close my eyes and try to ignore everyone when I walk through and JARVIS calls out...

"Peter Parker, Level 5, Gold. Welcome back Peter"
