"Risk sweetheart," my mom called before even turning the corner to see me. I glance over my should still not seeing her as yet and I smile shaking my head because she always does this. I waited for her to turn but not for long, if I had to wait long then she would have shouted my name, and then I'd know that she was far away.

"Hey mommy" I kiss her cheeks when she's beside me. She smiles lovingly brushing my stray hairs away from my face to kiss my cheeks too. She continues to comb through my hair which she knows comforts me, she only does that when she believes that what she is about to say will either upset me or I will not want to talk about it. I continue to eat as my wolf rolls all over the place due to mommy practically scratching behind our ears.

"Son" she sighs first, and I bite into my apple waiting for her to continue. "You need to talk to Prynse baby" I swallow the bite of the apple in my mouth and turn to face her with a straight face and nod which surprised her. She did not expect me to just agree with her.

"I know mommy, but I doubt he would want to be I'm the same room as me. Thought of knocking him out and dragging him here or not knock him out but still drag him here" I shrug undecisive.

Mom laughs as I smile watching her, I know she knows I'm dead serious. "I swear sometimes I fear the worse because you are too much like me at times" she giggles while I raise a brow.

"How so at this moment?" I ask curiously.

She smirks and brushes her long hair over her shoulder "I knock your dad out once" my eyes widen, and she nods answering the question I did not even ask. "He refused to talk to me when I tried to solve our problems. He was being immature, so I knocked him out and tied him up, so he doesn't walk out on me again. We talk, problems got solved and then you happen because of that" she shrugs like it's nothing serious.

"So, if you didn't knock pa out then I would not be here because you guys would be in a sane mood to use a condom or pull out." I squirt my eyes accusing.

Mommy giggle shaking her head no, "nah sweetheart, we were sane of course" she said but didn't meet my eyes and covered her mouth to hide her laugh.

"Yea Mommy because I was born yesterday" I smile rolling my eyes.

"Talk to him okay" I nod which made her smile. "Where's your pa? " I shrug unknowingly of his whereabouts. Mom shrugged and got to cook breakfast.

After a couple of minutes, pa showed up informing us that he went hunting. I pull up at school and rest my head on the steering wheel taking deep breaths. When am I ever nervous? It's so strange that I am now because I have so much confidence that I could probably share with half the world and still have enough for myself.

I got out of the car and run my fingers through my hair and catch it in a ponytail style. It was far from neath, but I didn't care, I just wanted it out of my face. I walk up to the entrance to see my baby nuggets looking out for me eager to see me and as they do "daddy!!" They both yell attracting attention. I open my arms as they run into it almost knocking me over. I lift both of them spinning them around to which they laugh and giggle, "Daddy, why didn't you take us to school today" bubs pouts adorably. I sigh rubbing their heads down they lean into eyes closed.

"I had something to deal with and I didn't want you guys late" I explain they nod to hitching to my side as we start walking into school. I hug them tighter to my side as both their hands wrap around my back and front, I had to watch our feet, so we don't tangle up and fall.

"Daddy," said bubbles who was at my right so I look down at him waiting for him to continue. His big round eyes meet my own "I got an A!" He said excitedly and I smiled proudly.

"Great bubbles, I'm so proud" I kiss his head then I look over to bubs who turn away with tears not his eyes. "What are wrong bubs?"

"I got an A-" he whispers but I heard.

"I'm proud of you too bubs" his head snap to meet my eyes with the hope that what I said u mean it and I nod. "I do mean it" he smiles brightly and nods hugging me tighter.

"Daddy the alpha is coming our way" bubbles tug at my shirt so I glance up to indeed see that it is true, but Prynse did not realize because he is on his phone plus talking with his beta. When he finally saw me, his face immediately screws up and I hear the low growl that escape him, if he wasn't so far away from where he was, I'm sure he would have turned back but he continues to walk determined to pass me, but I step in front him just as the bell ring, so everyone scurries away to get to class.

"Get out of my way Risk" he tries to sidestep me. Now that he's alpha we are definitely on the same height and his scent has changed to a more powerful one that demanded more respect than before.

It fits him like a custom-made suit.

"We need to talk Prynse" he growls practically dismissing what I said. He sounds so sexy when he growls.

"Now you want to talk" he let out a laugh "get out of my way," he said firmer using a bit of his alpha power and I watch as his eyes change to his wolf, I growl feeling my wolf push forward. "You disobey your alpha!" he steps forward, obvious that his nerve of sanity is like a string.

I step forward staring into his eyes "I disobey my mate" I growl correcting him and I watch as that string finally snaps.
