Rubbing my eyes, I slowly open them. I immediately take a step back. The place that I'm in... I know this place. But that's impossible, how am I here?

The place where me and Damien first met... the flower field in front of the castle. It seems to be in the same condition as I left it, however a single bench has been added in a small clearing, where the flowers part.

Walking towards it, a wave of nostalgia overwhelmes me. Me and Damien used to be together here all the time. He even proposed to me here, too.....God, I wish I could see him again. We have so much to catch up on.

As I sit down, I start to hum the lullaby I used to sing. I always came here to clear my mind when my princess training was getting tough. That's how we met, after all, all those years ago. I still remember it as clear as day.

"...In little ways, where everything stays..." I finish, watching the wind blow through the giant field of flowers. I'm suddenly startled as somebody taps me on the shoulder. I turn around to meet the gaze of a flustered boy, around my age, smiling awkwardly at me.

"Uhm...hello. My name is Damien. Diaford. Uh...you're really prett- I mean, uh, your song was pretty...cool! Yeah!" He stutters. I giggle at how cute he's being.

"Nice to meet you. I'm Flora, Flora Spádix." I smile kindly, moving my hair out of my eyes a little. He blushes a bit more, then brings something out from behind his back.

"Here." He says abruptly, placing it in my hands. It's a single flower, alike the ones in the field. However, the colours are inverted, matching the colours of a daisy. I blush a little, and smile at him, placing it in my hair.

"Thanks, that's really sweet of you. So, where do you come from?"

I sigh. It feels like an eternity since I last saw him. And it feels even longer since I've heard his voice. He had a really bad ear infection as a teen, and has been completely deaf ever since. We had to learn to make do.

...He's been through a lot. Along with me being murdered and possessed by an otherworldly being bent on destruction, and his two kids running away, he's been...he's been really strong without me.

But now he's dead. Nobody even stopped to care about him, not even my stubborn brother.

I'm interrupted from my thoughts by a tap on my shoulder. Strangely, this feels all too familiar. Turming around, I cover my mouth and start to sob.

"You kept me waiting." Damien smiles, touching my shoulder in reassurance. I start to grin, tears rolling down my face.

"...You're such a nerd, Diaford." I giggle, shaking my head mockingly.

"I was wondering when you were going to come here. Do you like what I did with the place?" He beams, sitting down next to me to wrap his arm around my shoulder. I lean against him, but suddenly start acting aloof.

"...We're not actually in the field, are we? This isn't real." I ask bluntly, Damien frowing in disappointment, as everything but the bench fades to white.

"You got me, Flo. I thought it would be nice for us to see it together, one last time." He blushes in embarassment, cheering me up. He's always looked adorable whilst blushing.

"Well, you know me. I couldn't die. I wish I could of spent more time with you and our kids, but...you know." I giggle and shrug, holding his hand.

"I know. It's been tough for both of us, hasn't it?" He giggles, locking eyes with me. I blush, looking away.

"Don't give me that look, dear. And yeah, it has been. But...I'm glad I get to see you again. I've never stopped loving you, Damien...remember that." I confess, bringing myself closer to him. He starts to stroke my hair softly.

"Even after all these years?" He challenges, looking down at me. Our faces are practically touching at this point, and I weakly giggle.

"Forever and always." I smile, sitting up slightly to peck him on the lips. He blushes for a second, but then laughs, taking hold of both of my hands. He leads me up off of the bench, and it disappears, leaving just us and the white void.

"You don't have to come back with me. We could stay here together." He smiles slightly, and I raise an eyebrow in question.

"Don't you think I've had enough of voids for an eternity? Of course I'll go with you, silly." I chirp back, walking over to him for a hug. He places a hand on my head again.

"Good to hear. Everybody's been waiting for you." He smiles, resting his head on top of mine. I blush again, giggling.

"I'd love to see them again. But before then, there's somebody I need to talk to..."

"I see. We'll go together, then."

"I'd like that."
