Then just like that
It was all gone
All that we had hoped for
All our past dreams
It was not in the blink of an eye like they always say
It didn't flash before my eyes before it all went away
It took time, It was a process
One that slowly killed me every day
It was over time that it slowly tore me apart - crumbled me
It was a dream - it was a nightmare
Over time we drifted
Over time we faded
Falling further and further apart
Falling farther and farther out of love
