sleeping, your on your tippy toes

I sang loudly while dancing around my small bedroom. The limited space made it difficult to move my legs and I ended up tripping over my bag and landing on the floor with a squeal. My Freind had her phone out recording the whole thing, laughing hysterically behind her screen.
"Nooo don't film me!" I wined
she laughed even harder when I jumped on the bed and grabbed her phone out of her hands. I ran out the room to delete the video before she could post it anywhere.
"Alex! Give me my phoneeee!!" She ran after me trying to snatch her phone from me. I noticed a message display on the top of her screen.
"Ooooh who's Tom?" I said wiggling my eyebrows.
(My best Friend talia had dated quite a few guys. I had only ever had one girlfriend. It didn't end well either)
She rolled her eyes
"No one"
"You suuuure?"
"He's just this guy I met at school..." she blushed
"oooh how long have you been talking?"
"I don't know...not long"
she walked back into my room and plopped herself on the bed. I followed her and realised we forgot to pause the song. It had changed to Bitches broken hearts.
I gasped "I love this one!"
Talia rolled her eyes at me
"you say that about every single one"
"yeah well I like every single one" i stuck my tongue out at her.
Ive been obsessed with Billie eilish since she first released 'ocean eyes'. Every song she has made I knew and absolutely loved. Every time I hung out with my friends I would always make them listen to Billie. I couldn't even imagine meeting her. It would be an actual dream. I have seen so many videos her meeting her fans, she was so sweet and kind. She hugs them and takes pictures with them. It's something that I had wanted for way too long.
"Alex! Earth to Alexandra!" I woke up from my day dream to Talia waving her hand across my face in attempt to pull me out of my trance.
"huh oh hi sorry"
"whatcha thinking bout?"
"Billie..." I mumbled. I'm pretty sure she was getting sick of my obsession with Billie.
"Of course you are" she smiled
"Let's watch a movie"
"yessss" she replied pulling blankets over us while I picked a movie.

BEEP BEEP BEEP
My loud alarm clock woke me up.
"Ughhh" I groaned while slapping around my bedside table failing to turn of the alarm. My school alarm still kept going off on weekends and it was sooo annoying. I heard Talia stir beside me but she didn't wake up. Since I was awake I may as well check my phone I thought. I went to Instagram and saw Billie had a new post at the top of my feed. I read the caption. SHE WAS GOING ON A WORLD TOUR!! Then i realised there's a chance she might not come anywhere near where I live. My parents didn't have enough money to fly out to a far away state to see Billie eilish.
As a looked through the places and dates it didn't look promising for me. Then I saw it.

"AHHHHHHHHH" I screamed loud enough to wake Talia up this time. I didn't care that it was 7am on a Saturday, BIILIE EILISH WAS COMING TO BROOKLYN.
"WHAT ALEX WHAT HAPPENED" she shouted
"BILLIE IS COMING TO BROOKLYN ON HER WORLD TOUR OH MY GOD!"
"OMG THATS AWESOME IM SO HAPPY FOR YOU"
"I knowwwwww!" I couldn't stop smiling I was so excited. I hadn't even got the tickets yet and I was still crazy excited.
"Who are you gonna go with?" She asked suggestively
"If you'll come...?"
"Yes I would love too! I wanna see the girl you talk about non stop"
I blushed slightly. I was kind if embarrassed about how obsessed I was with Billie because it was a little ridiculous I can admit.
"I need to call my mum right now!"
"Ok" she said, falling back down on the bed to go back to sleep. That reminded me it was only 7am so mum wouldn't have got too busy at work yet. She was a hairdresser and had the earliest shift.
i pressed in my mums contact and pressed call.
"Hello?" I could barely hear her because of a hair dryer in the background.
"MUM HEY YOU NEVER GUESS WHAT HAPPENED, BILLIE EILISH  IS GOING ON A WORLD TOUR AND SHE IS COMING TO BROOKLYN" I shouted down the phone.
"Oh wow! That's great! We'll talk about it when I get home and see if we can get some tickets ok?"
"YES THANK YOU SO MUCH MUM"
"It's ok honey I have to go now I love you"
"ok bye mum"
I ran upstairs to tell talia
"HEY TALIA!" I shook her shoulders to wake her up
"huh what?"
"My mum said we can go to Billie eilish!!"
"Omg really that's so cool!"
"I know right! Are you excited?"
"How is that even a question it's billie freaking eilish of course I'm excited"
"Obviously" I laughed
