A N Y WAY sorry for the updating in nearly two weeks. Tbh it's not that long but Ik how it feels when you rlly wanna know what happens and your waiting for them to update. Billies pov:
"OH MY GOD WHAT HAPPENED?!" I shouted down the phone in panic desperately trying to find my car keys. Alex is in the hospital and I need to get to her right now. I was supposed to be in a meeting but I didn't give a shit about that right now. I ran to my car as fast as I Could and drove to the hospital. I really really really hope she's okay. What if she's dead? Oh my god what she ends up with life changing injuries? Nononono not Alex. That could crush her and me.
I get in the hospital and immediately hear
"OMG it's billie eilish!"
Perks of being famous.
"I'm sorry not right now please" I said trying to get to the reception desk as quick as possible.
"Hello can I help you?" A young women looked up at me and her eyes widened, I ignored it and said Alex's full name quickly.
"Can I see her please? Do you know what happened? Is she okay? Please tell me she's okay? Can I just go and see her? where is she?"
"Mam I'm going to need you to stay calm. Take some deep breaths and I'll call someone to bring you to her room"
I breathed in and out slowly.
"Thank you so much"
I stood next to the desk tapping my foot and biting my nails. A habit I often pick up when I'm nervous or worried. After she talked to whoever, another women walked towards me smiling at me.
"Hi do you wanna come through I'll take you to Alexandra" I said nothing and just walked as fast as I could without overtaking her.
I came in the room and saw Alex laid in a hospital bed. Her eyes were closed. She must be sleeping. She had wounds, cuts and bruises on her face and down her body that with or without the Stitches I knew that it was bad. My eyes started to fill with tears at seeing her like
This. No one wants to see the person they love injured. Whether it's minor or severe. The doctor came in the room and started talking to me. I was just staring at Alex. What else am I supposed to do? I've never been in a situation like this before.
"So she was involved in a dangerous car accident. The windshield in the reason for the cuts and bruises on her face. She has also suffered a moderate concussion which might affect her memory to an extent.
"To an extend? What does that mean? How much will she forget? Will she still know who I am?" The tears I tried to stop were threatening to flood down my cheeks. Hearing that there is a possibility that my girlfriend might not know who I am is more than enough to start crying my eyes out. But I tried my hardest to wait til the doctor is gone.
"We are going to ask her some questions when she is stable. At the moment she is drifting in and out of consciousness. What is your relationship to her?
"She's my girlfriend"
"If you mean a great deal to her then I can assure you she will not completely forget who you are. You are welcome to stay here with her as long as you need"
"Okay" Was all I could say before the long awaiting tears finally started to roll down my cheeks. I looked over at Alex and wondered if she'll know who I am when she wakes up. The doctor doesn't know for sure. She might only know me as 'Billie eilish.'
I can't have my own girlfriend see me as just a celebrity. How long is she gonna be in here for?
I dragged a chair over next to her bed.
"hey alex...I know your not even awake right now but I want to say that I really hope you remember me. I really hope you remember how much I love you and how much I need you. And if you don't how am I going to help
You remember?"
I held onto her hand and stared at her face. I pictured her smiling, and laughing or the face she makes when she's embarrassed. Her left ear goes red and she fiddles with her fingers. It's the cutest thing ever. I've always found it strange though still. I think about how it feels to kiss her and how happy she makes me. I'm gonna have to go a while without kissing her if she doesn't even remember who I am. I hope she doesn't have to stay here long. Just as I'm thinking that the doctor that I spoke to earlier walked into the room.
"So She needs to stay in the hospital for the next two weeks. When she is to return home, can I trust you to make sure she doesn't do too much and further injure herself? If anything comes up you must take her straight back here and we will Handle it"
"Yes of course I will" I said and I looked at Alex again.
"Okay thank you. But I'm afraid you have to leave because visiting hours are over"
"What no please I need to stay with her"
"I'm sorry but it is the rules. Go home and get some rest"
"But...I-" realising i can't argue with a doctor I gathered up my stuff and walked to the door. With one last look at Alex I was on my way out.
'Get some rest'
Yeah right. Like I'm gonna get any sleep tonight.
