Seriously?

"So...what do you wanna do?" I said looking at billie.
"Ooh why don't we watch a movie? What's your favorite movie"
"Hmm" I thought for a while "Fruitvale station"
"No way me too!"
"Really? Awesome let's do that then"
We got comfortable and put on a very fancy flat screen tv for a hotel room.
We finished the movie and it was time for me to go home.

"Thanks for meeting up with me today I had a great time"
"Yeah but I kinda need to get home do you think you could maybe give me a ride"  She smiled and nodded.
"Of course I'm gonna take you home how else would of you have got home" She lightly pushed me.
"I don't know actually" we laughed.
The drive home was nice. We listened to music and talked the whole way. I considered telling her about my dad but I didn't know if I wanted to yet. I mean it's not like we just met I've known her years, not that she knew me, but I've know her for a long time.
"hey...Billie"
She looked at me and smiled
"Yeah what's up?"
"Um well"
"I'm listening by the way I'm just tryna keep my eyes on the road" She laughed and I laughed awkwardly
"So wassap?"
"Well earlier when we were in the cafe and we were talking about my dad"
"Yeah..."
"And you said i should come here with him again...yeah um he's dead.."
"Shit seriously?"
"Yeah...he died of cancer 3 years ago"
"I'm so sorry if I knew I wouldn't of-
"No no it's fine don't worry about it there's no way you could of known. Non of my friends really know what actually happened or that it was happening in the first place"
"Why didn't you tell them?"
"I don't know I just didn't want them to treat me differently I was worried like give me stuff I didn't deserve and be nicer to me because they feel sorry for me you know all that shit"
"Yeah I get it bro. Thanks for sharing that with me" She smiled at me and I smiled back. I felt butterflies in my stomach again. Probably because she's still my idol. But I'm starting to see her more as a freind....
