The teams were announced by drawing from boxes. They were teams of two, one team being the villains, the other the heroes. The heroes objective was to stop the villains from exploding the bomb by touching it within the time limit. The teams were announced.
Team A: Uraraka and Midoriya
Team B: Shoji and Todoroki
Team C: Mineta and Yaoyaorozu
Team D: Iida and Bakugou
Team E: Aoyama and Ashido
Team F: Sato and Kouda
Team G: Jirou and Kaminari
Team H: Asui and Tokoyami
Team I: Hagakure and Ojirou
Team J: Kirishima and Sero
The first set-up was A vs D.
"All-Might sensei, there is an uneven amount of people. What team am I supposed to be on?" You asked, slightly frustrated that you were the one left out.
"Young Kazume, you may choose which team you would like to be on."
Choosing almost immediately, you decided on Midoriya's team so you could smash that violent hedgehog.
"LET'S BEGIN!"
Your team began by memorizing the layout of the building for the first preparation minutes. Midoriya was extremely tense and began shaking. Uraraka tried to talk to him.
"You worried, Deku-kun?"
"Y-Yeah,"He stuttered. "Mostly because we're facing Bakugou and Iida."
"Oh, yeah. You did say that Bakugou used to bully you, right?" Uraraka asked gingerly.
"Yeah.. All the same, this time I feel as if I don't want to lose... if that makes sense. "
"I see," you interject. "You want to show Bakugou that you are capable of being here at Yueii, that your quirk is able to stand up to him now."
"Exactly," he nodded.
"Let's do our best then!"

We all stayed together as we infiltrated the building, wandering through the maze of filing cabinets. We stayed on our toes, prepared for the predicted ambush of Bakugou.
"He'll definitely come out to try to attack Midoriya, so we'll use that to draw him out, and let Uraraka slip out from his range to get to the bomb to disable it. "
That was the plan you had formulated, but you hadn't expected Bakugou to be so overwhelmingly strong. He had attacked almost immediately, as soon as he had confirmed your location. You were currently trying not to be crushed by him as he slammed down on you from above. He was pushing your blocking arms out of the way, so you dropped to the floor in a heartbeat. He then blasted a hole into the filing cabinets where you had been standing milliseconds before. The tips of your hair was singed.
"I'LL BLOW YOU AWAY, BUT JUST SHORT OF GETTING THIS!!" Bakugou shouted as he lunged with his right arm to blast another explosion, but Midoriya had slipped right up to his arm, hooking his around it, then throwing Bakugou over his shoulder and slamming him into the ground.
"Just like an expert!" Uraraka gushed at Deku's skill of reading Bakugou's moves.
Bakugou looked eternally pissed.
Deku went off on a tangent explaining how Bakugou always leads with a heavy right swing.
You realized Izuku had been constantly studying Bakugou's moves ever since Bakugou manifested his quirk. Midoriya must've looked up to him so much when he was little that he analyzed every move that Bakugou made.
