Walking into class 1-A the next morning, you had low expectations for how class was going to go. Maybe some light paperwork and free time was what you expected. What you were not expecting, was Aizawa-sensei to be there, just as class started, wrapped in bandages like a mummy.

"You're already back?" asked Uraraka.

"He's all right!!" said Iida.

"I don't know if you can really call that all right..." You mutter.

"Don't concern yourselves with me, afterall, your battle isn't finished yet."

"Don't tell me there's more villains.." screamed Mineta.

"Yueii's sport festival is approaching," the bandaged teacher announced.

"Oh yeah, this is an actual school."

"This isnt an event that can be brought to a halt by some villains. I know you all are apprehensive still since the attack, but UA would not be hosting it if they weren't confident that we have all our ducks in row."

"Our sports festival is one of Japan's biggest events, like the Olympics!"

"Top heros will be watching to scout us," said Yaoyaorozu.

"You'll probably end up being one of those dumba***s stuck as a sidekick for the rest of your life," Jirou said to Kaminari. You tried to hold back a laugh.

"This is a chance you'll get only once a year. If you aim to be a hero, this is an event you cannot overlook." Aizawa sensei declared.

At lunch, Izuku sat next to you before Bakugou came from the line. "So, Kazume-chan, I've been wanting to ask you, but why are you aiming to become a hero?"

"Hm?" You looked up from your salad with a leaf in your mouth. Quickly swallowing it, you said, " Well, the main reason is, I want to be able to save those who are suffering. I wish I could end all of it, but I cant, not even after becoming a hero, but I'm going to try my hardest. I never want families to be separated or torn apart. I want people to cherish each other in the safety of their own homes."

"That's a really honest to good reason," said Midoriya, "but it seems like its missing something."

"You're right." You place down your fork. "The true reason I want to become a hero is to make my sister proud. She told me to be the best hero, since she cant anymo-.."

Your voice trailed off. Midoriya decided not to ask, just nodded and turned away. Straight into Bakugou.

"1 second until I cream you." Bakugou growled. Midoriya made himself scarce. "Oi," the angry blonde sat down across from you, "What was he asking ya ab- the h*ll?! Are you.. crying?"

You touched your face. Wet tears were streaming slowly down your cheeks.
"Are you alright, Kazume?" Asked Kiri, placing a hand on your shoulder. You brushed it off and stood.

"I.. I think I need to go."

You rush out, face red, embarrassed from crying in front of them. You pull the door closed behind you after entering the first classroom you saw. Sliding down the wall into the corner, you placed your face in your hands and just let the tears roll.
I didn't think this would happen, dang it. I thought I was over it.

You were so distracted that you didn't notice the door open and close. You didn't even notice that someone had entered until he sat next to you.
"B-bakugo?"

He didn't say anything for a minute. He looked at you then grabbed your head and pulled it over to rest on his shoulder.

" ... If you don't want to, you don't have to say anything."
