As we arrived at school dustin came up to me
"Hey y/n" he said with that goofy smile I loved
"Hey dusty long time no see" I said with a smile aswell
-Dustins pov-
As we arrive at school I saw y/n she get more pretty every time I see her... wait stop remember what Steve told you!
"Hey y/n" I said as I flashed my amazing smile :)
"Hey dusty" she gave me a nickname >^<
My little face became red and I quickly turned away
"So dustin who you taking to the snowball thing?" She asked me about the dance?
"I'm not sure yet" i replies and shrugged
Her face looked disappointed why?

-lunch because I'm lazy-
As me and max walked out of the building I saw Lucas, Mike and Dustin having yet another one of their disagreements
I began to walk up to them when I feel a dark presence around me
I turn to see the entire place go a dark red with no one around I froze as I saw it the mindflayer....
but before I could move I was brought back to reality
"Y/n are you ok?...." max asked as I had tears in my eyes
"Yeah....I just need... I need to go..." I ran to the girls bathroom and locked the door

As y/n began to run off I saw Dustin looking over concerned.
"Hey guys do you know what's wrong with y/n?"
"No why??" Dustin asked
"She looked up to the sky like she was going to cry then just ran off" Will looked worried
"I'm going to go find her" Dustin said as he ran off
"Hey will"
"Yeah"
"Do you think dustin likes y/n?"
"I mean he spends all his free time  with her and she's his BFF so maybe I.. I don't know.."
