It was a little bit later in the day and we ended up going to the mall and there was... a girl? Well whoever she was she was pretty hopefully she and Steve work together :)
"Um excuse me miss?" I asked
"Yes?" Her voice sounded sarcastic
"Is he working today?"
"Who's he?" She asked just then
"Y/n!" STEVVVVE
"Stevie!"
He grabbed me and hugged me
"Who's the little child Steve?" The girl asked
"Oh yeah robin this is y/n she's like my little sister" he said.. wait he said I was like his little sister awwww I love you bish 🥺❤️
"So you the kid he goes on about" she laughed
"Stevie What does she mean??"
His face was bright red
"I um... may talk about you a lot..." he blushed
"So has dustin gotten home yet ??" He asked
"Nope sadly not yet" I sighed
"Damn when was the last time you two talked ?" He asked me
To be honest a while ago probably when he just left because his camp was far away from our small town
"Probably when he left three months ago.."
a sad look appeared on his face
"Damn n/n I'm sorry.."
"It's fine if he doesn't want to speak to me then I don't have to speak to him" I said I was slightly pissed at him for not writing to me or even a call
"Hey want free ice cream?" He asked I giggled and answered
"Any Rocky Road left I asked"
"Yep just sit yourself down and I'll bring you a big scoop over" he smiled :)
Damn I wish Steve didn't have to work so far away... maybe I should find a small job to pay for stuff
