Wade and his group of friends:Eliza, Connor, and Faith. Were walking around the forest, exploring. They were climbing trees, throwing rocks into the lake, and just talking. Wade saw a huge tree and decided to climb it. He managed to get to the fifth branch when he looked down. "That's gotta be atleast 14 feet!" Wade said out loud. Connor looked up in awe. "Woah! How tall is that?!" Connor shouted obviously impressed. Wade looked up again. "About..... 20 feet?" I wanna try!" Connor attempted to jump on the first branch, but he just fell down. Wade laughed. "You need to jump a little higher, Connor." Faith said while smirking at him. Connor just rolled his eyes
"I'm gonna climb a little higher and see if I can see anything!" "Okay!" Wade quickly started climbing the tree. He stopped at about 19 feet. Just one more... he finally got up to the top of the tree. He started looking around but stopped when he saw a huge tower like house. He looked around at the surroundings. It was what seemed like miles of trees then a river then an open space with the tower. He was staring at the tower until a bird flew near him, making him lose his balance. "WOAH!" Wade screamed as he fell off of the tree. Welp. This is the end he thought to himself. He quickly snapped out of that thought when he fell in a puddle of water.
"Ha! Looks like I got the last laugh!" Connor said while laughing, earning a smack on the head from Eliza. "Ow." Connor said. "I saw a huge house! But it's like miles away from this place! I didn't know there were any houses here.". Eliza quickly shot her head up from Connor. "A house? Is it like.. tower like?" "Yea?.." "Does it have a river right before it?" Wade took a moment to think. "I'm pretty sure it does." "It's Kings Cross River!"(yea I know Kings Cross is from Harry Potter xD) "Kings Cross.. River?" Wade asked. "Yea! And that house you saw. It's said to be haunted." As if on cue, a lighting strike came down a few miles away from them and thunder started rumbling. "Welp. Looks like it's gonna rain. We better head back." Faith said. Eliza nodded and grabbed her backpack. Kings Cross River... Hm.. Wade thought to himself.

When Wade got to his house he immediately went on the computer and searched up 'Kings Cross River' he was looking through the results and realized that the river he saw, really was Kings Cross River! "Nice! I can use some more adventure. I'll go exploring IN the Haunted Tower. Tomorrow!"

The next morning Wade got up from his bed and quickly ran down to Connor's house. "Wanna go to Kings Cross with me? We can go exploring in the Tower!" Connor looked sad. "I'm sorry but I have to go to a stupid family reunion." "Aw... it's ok." Wade ran to Faith's house this time I really should have brought a bike. "Wanna-*pant*- go to-*pant*-Kings Cross River with me?" "I can't, I'm going to my grandmas. "Oh. It's ok." Wade ran to Eliza's house this time. "Want to go to Kings Cross River with me?" Eliza looked shocked. "I know you like adventure and stuff but that house is really dangerous!" Wade rolled his eyes. "Pleaaseeeee?" Eliza sighed. "Stop acting like a two year old. You're 15!" Wade sighed. "Finnneeeeee." Wade walked back to his house. Guess I'm going alone then.
