Hector and Wade walked for a bit until they came to a spot right next to the stairs.
"You might wanna cover your ears." Hector told him. Wade nodded and put his hands over his ears. "EVERYONE, GET YOUR A$$E$ DOWN HERE!" Hector screamed. Wade flinched, he could still hear Hector. Wade uncovered his ears and he heard a few groans coming from upstairs. Next thing he knew, what looked like about a hundred skeletons came running down the stairs. Wade just stared at them "I-I what?! T-there's more?!" Wade said, still in shock.
Hector chuckled. "Yes. I told you that five minutes ago." All of the skeletons were staring at Wade. Wade noticed this and looked away. "Who is that? And how can he see you?!" One of the skeletons shouted.
Then all of the other skeletons starting swarming Hector with questions. Some along the lines of "Who is he?!" "How old is he?!" "How can he see you?!" "Is he dead? He doesn't look like it!" Etc, etc. "One at a time, please!" Hector pleaded, he pointed at one of the lady skeletons and said "You. What's your question?" "How can he see you?" Hector looked at all of them, then back at Wade. "How.. can you see me?" Wade was scared. He felt all of the eyes on him immediately. "I-uh-idontknow." Wade stuttered. All of the skeletons looked confused.
Wade started looking around the house, studying it. He noticed a lot of paintings, each one with a different painting. He noticed a lot of paintings that were said to be haunted, he learned a lot of haunted paintings from Jessii Vee. (A/N I'm sorry, I was just watching her videos a little while ago) He was looking around until he saw a painting that was said to be EXTREMELY haunted. It was a black and white painting of a chair and a lamp next to it.(A/N I don't know that's what it looked like in my dream) He was staring at the painting until he heard his name being called. "Wade? Wade!" Hector was trying to get his attention. Wade quickly snapped his attention back to Hector. "S-sorry. I was just looking at the paintings."
"It's fine." Hector assured him. "Since we don't know how you can see us. We might need you to live here for a while." Wade looked shocked. Hector took note of this and quickly tried to assure him, "Its ok! We won't hurt you! Heck, it will be fun!" Hector said while smiling at him.
"Now that you're going to live here. Time for you to get a room." Hector took Wade by the hands and started guiding him to a painting. Wade looked confused and scared. It was the painting with a chair and lamp on it! "Well, go on!" Wade turned around to see all of the skeletons behind him. "H-how?" Wade questioned. "Just open the painting! Kind of like you would do to a door." Wade turned back to the painting and reached for its frame. He grabbed hold of the frame and pulled.
The painting opened and it had a small tunnel, but wide and tall enough to fit him, then the room. Wade looked back at the skeletons, unsure if he should go in. "Well, go in now! It won't bite!" Hector joked. Wade chuckled. He jumped into the painting, crawling through the tunnel. Wade looked back at the skeletons smiling at him. Wade started getting an uneasy feeling and quickly jumped back where the skeletons were, afraid of the painting shutting the door and him being locked in.
The skeletons sighed. Hector tried reassuring him that nothing would happen but Wade was too scared.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~time skip to 5 minutes later~~~~~~~~~
All of the skeletons started getting bored and leaving after waiting for Wade to stop being a coward and just go inside his room. Hector sighed, and tried reassuring him for the 50th time that nothing would happen. Wade saw that all of the skeletons were getting bored and leaving, he didn't want his first impression for them was him being a coward. He glanced back at the few skeletons that were still there, and jumped in the painting.
Wade started crawling through the tunnel, still scared but trying not to show it.(A/N my name is Philip, I am a poet, and I'm a little nervous but I can't show it)
He fell down after reaching the end of his tunnel. Hector came in right after him, congratulating him. Wade looked around his new room. It had the same chair and lamp in the picture in a corner of the room, a mini fridge, a window, and a bed. He was staring in awe until he heard a voice.
"Welcome to your room, Wade."
Is my room talking to me?!
