The first day of school had arrived. Elle wasn't too thrilled but some excitement was hidden within her. She had a busy schedule which consisted of her having to go to class from 7:30 to 2:00 and then go to practice from 5:00 to 9:00. Having all honors classes doesn't help her either.

When she finally decided to wake up at 5:40am she wasn't in the best mood. While getting ready she thought about the other day and how she actually had a good time with Case and hoped to see him by chance.

First class of the day was Biology and while Elle was put into Honors she felt out of place. All these kids were extremely smart and although Elle wasn't dumb she didn't believe she was their type of smart. When walking into the class she noticed a face, Jack Hughes. She made eye contact with him and tried to make it seem like she was looking around. Unfortunately to her one of the only seats available was the one right in front of him. Swiftly turning direction to him and she down in the desk.

Concentrated on the work given to her Elle hadn't noticed the pen the dropped to her right. Then she heard a light cough and then someone tapped her shoulder. She had a good guess on who the someone was.

"Uh my pen," Jack said pointing to the pencil.

Elle looked into his eyes and immediately regretted it but nonetheless picked up the pen and handed it to him. While handing it to him their hands make the slightest contact and Elle retracted her hand as quickly as she could turning back into her desk. She heard a small "thanks" but chose to ignore it.

Lunch came around quickly and so far no homework had been given out. When walking into the lunch area Elle's first task was to find a vacant table where she would have no need to speak to anyone. Eventually she did just that and chose to skip the eating part, instead she pulled out the book she was reading the day before and put in her earphones. Just as she was turning the page in her book, her phone began ringing. Confusion flooded Elle, the number was unknown. Slowly she answered it.

"Hello?" Elle said or more like asked. She heard deep breathing but that was about it. She was about to hang up when she heard it. When she heard her.

"Hola mija" the woman said in Spanish. Elle's she's starting watering and she felt her heart hammering in her chest.

"What do you want," Elle said harshly.

"I miss you. I just wanted to congratulate you for making it to the school, it's all over the internet you know," the woman chuckled lightly but Elle knew her well enough to know that she was just trying to get answers.

"You ruined everything for me and dad, you are not going to ruin this too," Elle strained her voice in order to not let the emotions get a hold of her. That's what she did to her. Every time Elle thought of her mother her eyes watered, anytime they argued Elle was always the one that ended up crying. If there was one person who could make her cry with just a sentence it was her.

"I just wanted to check up on you and now that I moved to Michigan I could finally see you" as soon as those words left the woman's mouth Elle's heart dropped. She could barley form the words that escaped her mouth.

"No, I want you out I want you out of my life, the life you chose to leave years ago. Leave," Elle said shaking in anger.

"I'll see you later mija" the women said as she was about to hang up the phone but something stopped her, the word that came out Elle's mouth.

"Don't ruin this for me please," the despair in Elle's voice was evident and although the woman struggled to hang up she did.

The tears freely fell down Elle's face and this caught the eyes of many of her fellow classmates. She grabbed her book bag and quickly walked to the nearest exit.

When opening the door she bumped into someone. And once looking up with her teary eyes she saw that it wasn't just one person. It was three. Trevor, Case and Jack stood there wide eyed. Elle looked down and hurried off. The boys all have each other a look but the only one who decided to chase after the girl was Case.

"Elle!" Case ran to catch up with the girls long strides.

"Hey, you okay? What's wrong?" Case lightly pulled on Elle's arm but she was quick to reject him.

"I'm fine just-just go" Elle turned back around and left his sight. Case stood there speechless not knowing what to do.

Pacing back and forth in her room was the only thing that was helping Elle right now. She hated asking for help and right now she needed it she needed help. So she did what she had to and called her father.

"She's here she's here" Elle said still pacing while clenching and unclenching her free hand.

"Slow down sweety what are you talking about," Leonardo King asked confusion and worry lacing his words.

"She found me, she's here dad," Elle was actually crying at this point. Frustration and all the emotions she made her feel was finally being let out.

"Who? Who's there Elle? Who found you?" Leonardo King tried staying patient but he was far too worried.

"Mom, mom, she's here."
