Obi-Wan ran to the back room of his ship--the Clearer--that Anakin Skywalker, someone he thought he'd never see again, was trying to free from a tractor beam.
He skidded through the doorway and grabbed a small satchel sitting haphazardly on a broken stool. He rifled through it and pulled out his lightsaber, clipping it to his belt, then a cloak, fastening it around his shoulders quickly. He found a second on the floor, which he snatched up on his way back to the cockpit. The Clearer gave a great lurch, knocking Obi-Wan into the doorway and nearly tossing Anakin out of the pilot's seat, who was frantically pushing buttons on the console.
"What the bloody blazes was that?!" Obi-Wan yelled, stumbling to the copilot's seat.
Anakin pushed his hair out of his face and met Obi-Wan's eyes as the console's lights went out. "They took out our systems. We're sitting ducks."
The ship gave another lurch, and this time the two managed to hold on. But after that they heard a screetch of metal against metal, and the ship passed through a ray shield. They glanced at each other.
The Destroyer had found them.

Makari strode through the long, fluorescent-lit hallways of the Destroyer, headed for the landing bay. Apparently, Kos had caught something. She was hopeful, but had a sinking feeling in her stomach as well. She shook it off as she rounded a corner.
She was so lost in thought, at first she didn't notice the officer by her elbow. When she did, she was so startled she pulled out her lightsaber and held the hilt to his throat. He froze and made a croaking sound. Makari sighed and removed the hilt. His hand fluttered to his throat for a moment.
"My Lady, Captain Kos has requested that your excellency guard the prisoner. We have identified the ship that of Obi-Wan Kenobi's."
Makari stopped dead in her tracks. "Is he sure?"
"Yes, My Lady."
She shook herself. "Very well." Kos was right; they had the upper hand with having Skywalker's daughter. They could not afford to let her escape. She turned around and hurried to the brig, not bothering to give the officer new orders.
Makari stopped at the girl's cell and turned to the Clone Wars-era MagnaGuards standing before the ray shield. "Leave us." They marched away, metallic clanking vibrating through her bones. The girl was asleep on the floor.
"Get up."
She jumped and scrambled to her feet, blinking hard. Makari glanced behind her to make sure no one was in the hall, then took out the camera with her lightsaber before speaking her next words.
"What did he name you?"
She didn't answer, her face defiant. Makari took a step forward, so she and the girl were almost nose-to-nose. The girl didn't move back, but she was shaking and obviously fighting the urge to bolt out the lowered shield.
"What. Did. He. Name. You."
She gulped. "Leia."
"Good."
Leia cocked her head. Makari ignored her, strode past her and lifted a panel off the floor, revealing several pipes of all sizes. "Don't even think about it," she said as Leia edged towards the door. She froze.
Makari used the Force to break the pipes and pull them out, creating a cloud of steam as she did. But lo and behold, a ventilation tunnel had been under those pipes.
Leia gawked.
Makari dropped down into the tunnel and gestured for Leia to follow. She took a tentative step forward, then stopped. "How do I know I can trust you?"
The Sith opened her helmet and grinned at Leia. "You don't."

Halfway across the galaxy, a small blue, gold and grey astromech received a transmission.
It unplugged itself from the charging station and rolled down the carpeted hallway, head twisting as it looked for its master. It didn't have to look for long, because she happened to step out of a room and crash into it.
It fell back, and she reached down and pulled it upright.
"R8, be careful."
It beeped at her.
"A transmission? Play it."
R8 projected the message into the hallway. Its master watched it, eyes gradually widening.
A young Togruta stepped out from behind a man. The same Togruta's face peeked out from a broken mask. She dragged a girl down a hallway with a lightsaber to her throat.
"R8, when did you receive this?"
Beep beep-beeoo.
"Contact Padme Amidala. I've got a bad feeling about this."
A/N
Well that was short. Also, who is this mysterious owner of R8-B7??? We shall have to wait and see...I'm currently deciding whether it should be someone we know or someone new. Maybe an old green-skinned friend? *wink wink*
