Part 9/How are the kids?

Alexandra's POV...

Dean apologized to me! Yes! That makes me feel a little better. At least he isn't mad at me. Though my peace is soon over when I teleport to my house and I see Charlie (Loui's boyfriend.) babysitting my kids. 

"Hey, guys," I smile. Trying to not look sad in front of the kids. Charlie looked at me worried. My kids to me and hugged me. They looked 16 they were only 5 years old. They were so tall! 

Chris my son smiled, "mom, is it true?"

Kathy continued, "is mother gone?"

My heart broke in pieces. I looked at my kids with tears in my eyes. I slowly nodded yes. They looked at each other then back at me and hugged me. Charlie then walked over and joined. I cried and cried.

I can't cry. This is worse for my kids! My kids must be so much pain! I'm- I'm-

"I'm sorry!" I cry, my kids hug me more.

If I wasn't such a fool and didn't run out there. Kamren could still be alive! Why? Why!? Why me!? I'm so weak! After hundreds of years of training, I'm still horrible. So, so, horrible...

Chris' POV... (Mother is Kamren. Mom is Alexandra.)

Kathy and I already knew. Charlie told us. Kathy and I are sad over our mother's loss. But, our mom is so hurt. We'll be alright. Our mom is what comes first.

Kathy and I promised each other. When we were just born. That no matter what happened. We would have each other's back. Because we know we are all we have. The shadow gave us powers when we were kids. He told us to keep a secret from mother and mom. 

So we did. I feel terrible about keeping secrets. So did Kathy, but we did either way. Our mom is so fragile. She is just to denial to see it. If mom heard us say that she would be mad. She hates being called weak.

Though, she herself knows she is. 

Kathy's POV...

Chris and I think alike. Everything he said is true. Though, I want to get revenge for Mother! That Kathryn bitch deserves to die! Though I have to keep it in. For Mom's sake. That's what Chris always says. I love brother. But sometimes he is very childish.

The only reason I listen to him. Is because he always gives me this look when he is mad. I don't like it and it scares me. There will be a day. When me and brother, fight against the world.

Mom and Chris try to tie me on a leash. I hate it, but I have to deal with it. I bottle my emotions up. Because that's what they want. So I'll give it to them. 

Don't act on what I said as I hate them. I love my family as much as Chris does. I just want to express more then he does.

Narrator...Finally, the writer keeps doing POVs and I'm losing my job.

Alexandra spends a week with her kids. Loui obviously was there as well. It was full of laughs and them trying to get over Kamren's death.

At the end of the week. Alexandra said goodbye to her kids. Then asked to talk to Loui and Charlie. Her bright smile turned into a sad expression real quick. She even started tearing up.

Loui put a hand on her shoulder, "are you okay?"

Alexandra shakes her head, "Loui. I am about to ask you a big favor." She sniffled, she was in tears.

"What is it?" Loui asks her. Charlie wrapping an arm around her.

"I- I can't do it," she confesses.

"Can't do what?" Charlie asked calmly.

"The k-kids, every time I see them. T-they r-remind me of th-their m-mother. I c-can't m-move o-on," Alexandra says between tears.

Loui and Charlie are surprised. Loui was about to say something about her leaving her kids. But Charlie just stared at him. Charlie understood feelings more than him.

"We understand," Charlie smiled sadly. Alexandra looks back at him and hugs him.

"Thank you, thank you," she wasn't happy. But she appreciated it so much. "I promise I'll come as much as I can!"

Loui was silent. Alexandra hugged them. They said their goodbyes and Alexandra left within the blink of an eye.

She went to the bunker and was in Sam's room. He was there.

"Hey Sammy," she smiles at him. He turned around. He was working at his desk.

"Hey how you've been?" He gets up and hugs her.

"Good," she hugs him.

"Something happened over the week and- not that it's bad! B-but," Sam scratched the back of his neck. 

"Sam, what did you do?" Alexandra crossed her arms.

"Me? Nothing just um," Sam twiddled his thumbs. Alexandra glared at him.

"Ali had a kid a week ago and her name is Amethyst," he said quickly.

It was silent.

Then Alexandra said, as calmly as she could.
