The Blue Rose And The Wolf [On Hiatus]

The Beginning

Genesis's p.o.v

I was at the park with my mommy and daddy and my twin sister Quinn we were going to have a picnic and it was very pretty outside the sun was shining the birds were singing and the signs of spring were in the air. I wanted to go play with the other children that were in the park in the playground so I asked my dad if I could go play with them "Daddy can I play with the other kids please?" I said. He said, "okay but be careful alright."

 I gave him a nod in response. I was going to ask my sister if she wanted to come too so I walk the Quinn and asked: "Hey Quinn wanna play with me?" I asked giving her a smile. Then she said, "No way! Why would I want to play with a crybaby like you ?!". She said in an angry tone. I put my head down and said "oh..." I was sad but then I gave her a smiled and said: " that's okay if you change your mind let me know okay?" I said in a happy voice she gave me a hmph and crossed her arms and turned her head away. 

When I got to the playground I was tired from running and was out of breath so I just stood there trying to catch my breath. When I had my breath back I saw all the children playing still but then I became nervous I was afraid to talk to any of the other kids so I stood there frozen I couldn't move my feet until a group of boys came up to me. One of the boys stood in front of me I looked up at him since he was taller than me and said: " Hey kid what are you doing with my stuff ?!"

 He looked like a black wolf with comb-over hair due and sunglasses on and he also looked like he was 3 years older than me. I just looked at him I was too scared to speak " I...I um.." I started messing up my words, but then one of the boys pushed me he said " Hey! If the boss is talking to you then you have to listen, and you don't speak." He said " I'm s-sorry I-" "what did I just say!?"

 I flinched not saying another word afraid of getting hit so I kept my mouth shut. The 'boss' of the group started telling me about the rules here and what I can and can't-do but then a blue blur zoomed right in front of me and the other kids making dust come up after it stopped. I was coughing from the dust and dirt that was in the air, but once the dust cleared I was met with a boy standing in front of me he had blue quills, white gloves, and red shoes on they looked like sneakers. 

The boy's face looked mad he said "Hey! Why are you picking on a girl for?!" The other boys looked scared to then their 'boss' said "Sonic?!? W-we um... We're just kidding around." The other kids that were with him nodded in agreement. Then the blue hedgehog said " Well cut it out! I Don't want you to bother her anymore you hear me?!" The other boys nodded. Then he said, "Now Get lost before I make you!"

 Without arguing the other kids ran away quickly without hesitation. Then the blue hedgehog turned to face me his face was much gentler and calm now and asked: "hey you alright?" I nodded looking into his green emerald eyes 'he actually looks kind of cute. WAIT WHAT AM I SAYING I JUST MEET HIM' I thought my face was turning a light pink. He held out his hand and said: " Here let me help you up."

 I took his hand and he pulled me up I thanked him and he said to me "What's your name? Are you new to the neighborhood?" He asked I shook my head no to the being new here but I did tell him my name " My name is Genesis. Genesis the Hedgehog but some people call me by my nickname name Frisk I don't know why though." I giggled when he said, "Genesis that's a pretty name I like it better than Frisk." He gave me a smile and it looked like his tooth was missing. I kind of blushed a little bit though. 

He asked me if I wanted to play with him and his friends. I said yes and we ran to where his friends were he then introduced me to his friends Sally, Rotor, Antoine, and Bunnie they looked a bit older than me about two or one but I didn't care I made new friends and that's all that mattered...right?
