Cousin meets friends

Genesis's Pov

I finally have friends! I never had friends before. I guess now that I have friends now I can hang out with them all the time now maybe I don't know. I was so deep in thought that I didn't hear sally ask me a question "Genesis. Hello?!' "huh what? oh sorry, Sally I was thinking about something sorry" I apologize. Sally said "It's fine Genesis. anyway, we were wondering if you wanted to play soccer with us?" I nodded a yes and followed her to a soccer field in the park. We were split up into two teams boys vs. girls, I was the goalie it was important for me to be good at using my blocking skills.

The boys were winning by a point due to Sonic's super-speed he really lives up to his name as the fasts hedgehog alive, but I'm so determined that we can win this for sure. We decided to swap roles I was out front while Bunnie was the goalie while Sally made the strategies. I was facing off against Sonic which was intimidating due to his speed but the one thing they don't know is how I have a lot of flexibility well not literally but I was able to get the ball away from him so quickly that he didn't even notice when he was running with it. 

He looked confused and gave a confused look and said "Hey where did it go" when I replied running to the goal "over here!" I gave a little giggle to his surprised look and shoots a goal in and ended up getting two points making the girls win. We shook each other's hand and said good game as well, but then all of a sudden I got tackled by something or someone, the person said "Hey Genesis long time no see! How is my favorite cousin doing?" they gave me a noogie. I know who it was right away. "Hi, Robin I'm good how are you today?" I said in a joyful tone. She replied "I'm great thanks for asking." smiling back.

Robin is my older cousin by 4 years she is also a Hedgewolf a hybrid of a Hedgehog and Wolf. Normally people who did try to make fun of her for who she was she'd destroy them in a fight and it's scary sometimes but her parents and I sometimes try to calm her down. She's Very Energetic and very competitive too which also worries me seeing as we were playing soccer. Robin looks at my new friends and asks "Hey who are you, new friends?" I was kinda shocked she didn't realize them sooner, but they introduced themselves and then they started talking like they've been friends forever it seems my older cousin can make friends easily better than I can. I keep a smile on my face until all the other kid's parents started to call them to come home they all waved goodbye and that they'll see us tomorrow.

We waved goodbye and headed to where our parents were, but my cousin being the nosy person ever ask me the most embarrassing thing to me on the planet she says "hey Genesis you know that blue hedgehog friend of yours? Sonic Right?" I reply "yes?" in confusion about where she was going with the question I tilted my head with that yes. Robin says "Are you two a couple?" saying it with a cheeky grin on her face. I blush madly and since my quills/hair was covering my face she saw nothing my face could say to her.

 I told "W-We aren't dating why would you even say something like that!" but she laughs and pats me on the back saying " I was only kidding Gen you don't have to take it so seriously. And besides, I saw him giving goo-goo eyes after we said our goodbyes." chuckling even more. My cheeky just puffed up just like a Jigglypuffs would in the Pokemon anime. Plus Sonic like Sally, not me why would he ever fall for someone like me I'm a clumsy shy girl. Nobody wants a pushover. Also, dating wouldn't settle well with my dad. My Dad is very protective of me and my twin sister when it comes to boys and stuff so if he found out we were dating anyone that's male they would be on a list...and it's not a very nice list I can tell you that much.
