Genesis's Pov

My parents were babysitting Sonic while his mom went out for a few days so I had a playmate besides my twin who didn't really want to play with either of us. I didn't understand why though, but I guess she likes her space a lot because she didn't leave her room unless it was to eat.

Anyways Sonic and I were playing outside in the backyard we were playing catch. I threw the ball a little too hard and it landed in the forest. Sonic said, "No worries we'll be in and out of the forest no problem." I replied in a worried tone and asked:" Are you sure we should go get the ball I mean it's a little dangerous in the forest and what if we get lost?". Sonic said, "don't worry Genesis we won't get lost I promise." he reaches his hand out to mine while giving a small wink in encouragement.

I reluctantly agreed and both of us holding hands walked into the forest to retrieve the ball. The forest was a little dark because of the trees were too tall and overcrowded and we couldn't really see where we were going. I was super scared at this point and said "Sonic l-let's go back home it is way too scary in here.", but Sonic said, "Don't worry Gen we'll find the ball." once he said those words the ball we found the ball in a small clearing with a small light in a bed of flowers.

Sonic says smiling, "See what did I tell you we found the ball." he runs over to it and grabs the ball waving it in the air, and I trot up to him giving a small smile. Suddenly we both hear a snap of a twig and a very loud low growl. Sonic and I stood in fear at what we saw glowing bright red eyes slowly moving closer and closer growling with teeth showing as well. The stupidest thing we have ever done at this moment was to run, but we ran in the opposite way of my house, while the creature that was stalking us had decided to run after us.

Sonic and I were running super fast but Sonic tripped on a root ended up tumbling on the grass, and I didn't notice until a few seconds later but I noticed a few seconds too late because I heard the most horrifying sound I have ever heard. I heard Sonic screaming in pain as his arm was being bitten by the creature that I then realized to be a rogue Werehog, I had to think quickly and the thing I did was brave but stupid. I picked up the nearest object to me and threw it at the werehog's head. The Werehog let go of Sonic's arm looked at me and growled, but I continued to throw stuff at it. I said, " Leave us alone you big, meanie!".

It was about to pounce on me until a very loud roar almost shaking the earth right under my feet could be heard. I froze in fear of who or what made that noise and saw something much bigger and more intimidating tackle the rouge Werehog down to the ground and started fighting it. When I looked at it I saw that it was my dad in his own Werehog form beating the tar out of the Werehog that was giving me and Sonic trouble. I ran over to Sonic to see if he was okay, to find out he was unconscious. Alive...but unconscious with the bitemark that he had was healing quickly in the past few seconds of drama.

My Dad had told me to take Sonic and run as fast as I could to our house and don't look back. I nodded and picked up Sonic with the little body strength I had and ran with him on my back not stopping for anything until we both got out of there safely, but I started to get a lot slower due to the fact that Sonic is much bigger than me despite him being 8 years old and me being 7 years old. He eats too many chili dogs..., but luckily we made it home safely and I landed face-first on the ground in my backyard.

My mom was standing on the porch when she saw us she ran to the both of us and hugged us both tightly and asked "Are you two alright? Are you hurt?!?" with a happy but also very worried tone I said, "I'm okay mommy but Sonic got bitten on the arm and for some reason, it's healing very quickly." She examined his wound at like I said it was healing she was worried but stayed calm and picked him up and carried him into the house and I followed her inside.
