CHAPTER SEVEN

With Henry, it's full of surprises. I decided to ditch the girl drama as Chloe, his ex came back from the Kids In The Woods. Then, the Walldog went to jail and was apparently the old granny that abuses Ray whenever she could for revenge.

And now I'm flying in the sky around Swellview, seeing what there needs to be fixed or saved. Nothing so far.

The meatball dance? Screw that. I hate dances. Plus, I'm not even going with anyone, so why should I go? I know Kira's going. Everyone in our friend is going but me, I'd rather avoid Henry.

I paused flying as I'd got a call from James from my wrist. I took it. "Hello?"

"Is that wind?" I chuckled at his question.

"Maybe." I grin.

"Duty?"

"Yeah." I answered. "So, you made it to Swellview?"

"Yup." James answered. "Wanted to know if you'd like to catch up? At Coffee?"

"Yeah. As Supergirl or just Allie?"

"Hm, whatever you feel." James answers.

I thought for a minute. "How does James Oslen and Supergirl reunited in the newspaper feel?"

James tisked. "All right, Supergirl. See you in five minutes." I laugh and hung up.

I flew around, trying to find Coffee. Eventually, I did and landed on the ground, looking up at the big neon lights that say "COFFEE".

I looked around and noticed James on his phone, waiting there patiently. I smiled. I walked over to him and he looked up, hearing the sound of my boots.

"Hey, stranger." I joked with him and I side hug.

"You look good." James complimented me. "Clark says hi."

I nod. "Tell him I say hi back and that he needs to come to Swellview. Cause if his best friend, he sure hell can."

James laughed. "I forget that you're like, 13."

"14 soon," I tell him. "I'm basically 14."

That's when the paps come, invading our space with questions and camera lights. So, we stood there for a moment, posing.

We did a few poses. My favourite one was us smiling as our arms were wrapped around each other.

"Supergirl and James Olsen, Superman's best friend, reunited," James said allowed and looked down at me. "I see it now."

"Good," I tell him and we made our way into the COFFEE store.

Overall it was a good time, we eventually split ways, making me miss him some more.

I got home as Allie, so my parents won't suspect anything. I didn't realise how late it was. Mum and Dad were at the door, with their arms cross making me yell out of fear.

"Had a good time with James?" Dad smiled.

"Why didn't you tell us he was in town?" Mum asks, completely offended.

"Well... you know how you guys are with people... you talk a lot." I blurted out. "Not that that's a bad thing, it's just, James' a busy guy and he has some places to be. Not that-"

"We get it." Mum chuckled. "We find each other annoying too."

"How'd you know?" I asked quietly.

Dad holds out the newspaper. "Supergirl and James Olsen, Superman's best friend, reunited." Dad read aloud the title.

I laughed. "Hey, would you look at that? They do listen."
Mum giggles and shakes her head. "You look tired, you should go to bed."

"All right. Nigh Mum, night Dad. I love you both!" I called as I begin to walk upstairs but paused. "Is Kira home?"

"Yeah, she got back in half an hour ago," Dad called back and I smiled before walking up towards her room before mine first.

I walked into her room. She was on the bed, all cuddled up in warm blankets and a book with the reading light on.

"Hey, Kira," I called her name and she looks up, smiling. I looked at the table, there was a stuffed toy cow that wasn't there yesterday. "That new?"

"Yeah." A small blush crept over Kira's face. "Jasper insisted he got me this prize. Eventually, he did. Isn't that the sweetest?"

I beamed. "Looked like you had a good time at the dance, then."

"I had a blast. You should've been there, Henry was a mess." Kira then goes to explain how Chloe and he went together, but as Kid Danger to announce season two of Kids In The Woods.

Henry had previously asked Bianca to the dance. Because you know, they're dating and all... something about Henry pretending to be a bad guy, Ray showing up as Captain Man and I kind of lost interest in the story after that part.

Fill in chapters are the worst, I know. I'm sorry, the next chapter will make up for it, I promise!
