CHAPTER TWO

I fly around Swellview late at now. No, my parents don't know I'm doing this. But to make you feel better I'm dressed as Supergirl? Look I just wanted to fly around and see the city of Swellview...

And I was super high up from the ground, looking at the lights blow me. I flew around, looking down with a grin. Swellview was very pretty at night.

That's when the Swellview sign came into view. It looked like the Hollywood sign, like a copycat version. I laughed to myself and I landed on top of the Swellview sign.

I stood there tall and proud, the wind pushing my hair behind my shoulders and my cape flapping around like there was no tomorrow.

With my enhanced hearing, I could hear a guy and a girl down below. I looked down and crouched, I recognised them. Kid Danger and a Walldog. What the holy hell are they doing, kissing?

I frowned. Yes, I did a bit of research on Captain Man and Kid Danger. Not a lot on Kid Danger, he was a new sidekick, actually. Captain Man was indestructible, like I was.

I'm not getting confused, am I? Ain't Kid Danger suppose to be the good guy and the Walldog girl thing suppose to be the bad guy?

The blondie hands Kid Danger a spray can. "What this for?" The kid asked.

The girl dragged Kid Danger over to the L sign of Swellview, the one that I was standing on. I made sure I wasn't seen.

"Let's go to work on the Swellview sign." The girl shakes the spray can.

"What? No, are you crazy?" The kid exclaimed. This kid is giving me mixed emotions here. Is he bad or is he good?

The girl sighed. "Are you really to be a herbert?" What's a herbert?

"I'm not a herbert." The kid strongly says. "This sign is the property of our city, and I'm not going to let you do something illegal to it."

"Oh, you think just because something is illegal mean its wrong?" The girl snapped and I raised an eyebrow.

That is literally what it means-

"Well, yeah." The kid nods his head.

"I'm an artist." The girl continues to proclaim. "The Walldogs are artists. Don't you like artists?"

"Sure." The kid sighed. "But why should everyone in Swellview be forced to look at your art?"

Ouch. I almost laughed but realised they still don't know I'm here. So I smirked.

"Why am I forced to look at giant billboards advertising things I don't want to buy?" The girl demanded. I rolled my eyes. Well then don't look at them... "Like, diapers and lawyers?"

"Maybe some lawyers need diapers." The kid defended terribly and I shake my head. If it were me, I would've gotten her to jail already. "I don't know. Maybe we should just kiss again."

The girl and the guy leant in, kissing and that's when the helicopter came over us and I was blinded by the light that flashed on them.

I gasped. I'm going to blow my cover. "A police helicopter? You called the cops on me?"

"No, I did." A stronger voice commands. It was Captain Man and the lights flashed on me.

"Hey, look, it's Supergirl!" The guy on the helicopter exclaimed and I gasped again.

"Captain Man? Supergirl?" Kid Danger exclaimed, looking over at his partner and then looking up at me.

I sighed. My cover was blown, no point in hiding. I flew down and stood on the ground.

"Supergirl?" The Walldog glared at me. She either knows of me or remembers me from last time. "You said you came alone!"

"I thought I did! How'd you guys find me?" The Kid exclaimed again. "But I'm sorry, I love you so much Supergirl-"

"I followed you." Captain Man cuts him off.

"I happened to run into you guys." I placed my hands on my hips.

"Then I hid in those bushes over there and watched you two kiss."

"Then I stood on that L sign and watched you two kiss." I concluded. "I know it sounds weird but it's my job."

"Our job." Captain Man corrected. "Actually, my job. It's my city!"

I rolled my eyes. "Captain Man! Supergirl! Look! We're up here!"

"I know!" Captain Man screamed at them.

"We're in the helicopter!"

"We know!" I yelled back, narrowing my eyes at them.

"You shouldn't have come here, either of you." Kid states at us. I'm very confused at what's happening, but I'm going to act like I know what I'm doing.

"And you shouldn't have lied to me!" Captain Man glared at his sidekick. "One of us has to protect the city from trash like her."

"All right, don't call her trash." Kid defended my eyes widen.

"Excuse me?" I asked. "You're supposed to be Captain Man's sidekick! Not defending... her!"

The Walldog glared at me. "Don't worry, Supergirl I can handle this." Captain Man tells me. "Trash!"

"She's not trash!" Kid continued. "And you're not taking her anywhere... old man."

"How dare you." Captain Man was clearly offended by this comment. "You know I'm sensitive about my age. By the way, I'm only 34."

I rolled my eyes. "I doubt that."

"What are you, 16?" Captain Man bickered back. 13, but thanks. "Now," she shoves the kid back and walked over to the Walldog. "She's going to jail. Come here!"

The girl's eyes widen as Captain Man tried to put handcuffs on her. "Get off me!"

"Leave her alone." Kid Danger rushed forward and pushed Captain Man off her. He threw Captain Man to the ground.

"Captain Man!" I exclaimed as he begins to get back up. Captain Man got up and stood a bit of distance from Kid. "

"That was not okay." Captain Man glared.

And then the fight began and Kid tried pushing Captain Man over again but Captain Man was stronger and pushed him over first.

They continued to fight until Captain Man was of the hill and I gasped. I was quick off my feet, flying high before flying down towards the hill, watching Captain Man fall.

I quickly caught him before touched the ground. I set us both on the girl and he pants. "I can't believe that just happened!"

"Supergirl, why the hell are you here?"

I smiled. "Nice to see you too, Ray."
