"Look baby! Grab that one!" The mother points out a small white sea shell. The daughter leans down and grabs it looking at it closely, debating if she should keep it or not. She finally nods her head and adds it to her small basket of shells.

They're walking up and down a beach, scouring for shells to add to their collection. The girls spots a small green piece of...she's not sure what it is. She picks it up and studies it.

"Mom, what is this?" She asks handing her mom the small green piece.

"It's sea glass." She replies after looking at it for a moment.

"But it's not pointy like glass." The girl states.

"That's because the edges have been smoothed down from being in the ocean for so long." Her mother explains.

"Can we keep it? I think it's beautiful." The girl coos.

"Yeah, we can."

People are kind of like glass. After they drown for so long they get tired and worn. Yet they're still so beautiful...
