My eyes flutter up as I heard the beeps of a machine. I looked around to find myself in a hospital room. I sat up and looked around, my dad was on the chair next to me, asleep. I shook his hand.
" Dad?"
His eyes opened and he looked at him. His eyes went wide and he hugged me tight.
" (Y/N)! Thank god, I was so worried."
" Dad, how long was I out?"
He let me go and sighed.
" A couple of days...Sweetheart, you.... may want to look at your reflection."
Confused, I got up and went to the hospital bathroom. I looked in the mirror and froze, eyes going wide. My hair was longer, pitch black in color, and my eyes were a starry grey.
" W-WHAT HAPPENED!?"
I turned to my dad who stood in the door way, he looked worried and sad.
" I don't know, not even the doctors know."
I turned back to the mirror in fear, shaking.

That demon! I bet this is his fault, or at the very least his staff!

My dad hugged me then walked me back to the bed.
" I'll go check you out of here."
He left after kissing my head and giving me a sad look. As soon as the door was shut, the room got a red glow. Letting out an annoyed growl, I turned to the red demon who stood at the foot of the bed.
" What did you do to me?"
" Not a thing, I'm afraid." He growled.
I glared at him and crossed my arm.
" Why are you here?"
" Where's my staff ?"
" I don't know, I've been in here the last few days."
I laid back on my bed, looking down.
He growls at me, tilting my head up by my chin.
" Where is it?"
I slapped his hand away and stood up.
" I DON'T KNOW!!"
He grabbed me by my throat and lifted me off the ground. I struggled to breathe as I clung to his arm, desperate to get away.
" I don't like being lied to."
I cried, trying to scream for my dad, but all that came out was a speak of air. Suddenly my back ached, it was much worse then the pain this monster was causing me. I screamed out in pain as something came out of my back, hitting him away from me. I fell to the floor and looked up shakily.
My eyes widened as a pair of big black wings sat at my sides. I looked at the demon who looked just as shocked as me. He stood up and walked over to me.
" What are you?" He sneered.
I glared at him.
" G-Get away from me!!"
The wings slapped him across the room, throwing him into the wall. I backed into the corner as he stood up, blood coming from his mouth. He growled then disappeared, the room going back to normal. The wings went back into my back and I sat there, shaking. When my dad came back into the room, he looked at me with worry.
"(Y/N), What's wrong!?"
I couldn't speak, the pain in my throat and back, kept me quiet as a mouse. He picked me up and carried me out of the hospital. When we got to his car, he sat me in the backseat and got in the driver's seat. He drove off back home, the whole ride was silent. Upon
getting home, I got out and went inside. Almost instantly, I was meant with a hug by both my grandparents. I hissed in pain, pulling away quickly. They looked at me in shock, I quickly retreated to my room and closed the door, the staff still sat on my bed, where I had left it. I stared at it as a weak white light surrounded it. I sighed and sat on the floor, crying weakly.
" Why is this happening? I just want my mom back....."
I hugged my knees to my chest, crying as I stared at the staff.
" I want this all to just go away...."
I hid my face in my arms, crying for what felt like hours. When I had finally stopped crying, I got up and made my way to the bed, laying down next to the staff. It seemed to growl bright when I was closer. I closed my eyes and fell into a dreamless sleep.

" (Y/N), wake up."
My eyes opened and I saw my father.
" Honey, I'm going to go with your grandfather to get something to eat, okay? Do you want anything?"
" A....A Pepsi."
He nodded, kissing my head, and leaving. I sighed shakily and closed my eyes again. The room was cold, making me snuggle under my blanket. The whole house was silent, but it was more calming then it was eerie. I could hear the crackling of the fire wood in the living room and my grandmother soft humming down the hall. It calmed me down and soothed me, making me smile as I snuggled into the covers. Yawning, I went back into a sweet sleep, willing to forget all that had happened to me and my family.
