( Y/N's p.o.v.)
A month passed and slowly the cold whether started to get warm. Lukus, or whoever the hell he was, hadn't come by for a while. Alastor, on the other hand, would pop in and ask if I was okay. He'd stay for a minute then leave. I was in my room now, watching TV, the staff at my side. Dad walked in my room with a smile.
" Hi, honey."
" Sup, papa?"
" I found a few schools in the area the I think you'll like. Just look at them and get back to me, okay?"
I nodded and went back to the TV. Dad turned to the staff.
" Honey, where did you get that?"
" I found it in my closet when we moved in. It was cool so I decided to keep it." I lied
He nodded slowly then left the room. I sighed and rubbed my eyes. I looked at the bracelet Alastor gave me.

I wonder if he'd get mad for me calling him if I was bored....probably.

I sighed and decided to call him anyways. He appeared and turned to me.
" Yes?"
" Hi. Can you stay?"
He raised an eyebrow.
" Why?"
" Cuz I'm bored and want someone to talk to."
" And you choice me because...?"
I rolled my eyes.
" Because I don't have friends in this neighborhood, my dad is always at work, and I have a demon disgust as an angel after me and you're the only one I can remotely trust. You put the pieces together."
He chuckled.
" I suppose that's fair."
He sat next to me on the bed, turning his attention to the TV. Ghost adventures was on and this was an episode I had seen before.
" And they're looking for ghost, why?"
" It's their job."
He scoffed.
" A rather stupid job."
" Welcome to the modern age. Next to everything is kinda stupid."
He chuckled again and I turned to him. His ears stood straight up and looked fluffy. I reached and pet one, making him quickly turn to me.
" What....are you doing?"
" Petting an ear."
" Why?"
I smirked at him.
" Sheer absolute boredom."
He held back a laugh and turned away. I smiled and turned back to the TV. Alastor wasn't so bad. Don't get me wrong, I still had some of my suspicions, but as of right now, he was the only one I could trust. I heard the front door shut and my dad's car drive off. I turned to Alastor as he watched the TV. He looked absolutely bored with the show.
" Alastor?"
" Hmm?"
" Sorry."
He turned to me, a confused look on his face.
" For what?"
"  I thought you were the one who killed my mom. I'm sorry I accused you."
He shook his head.
" I can't really blame you. I'm a demon after all."
" Were you always a demon?"
" No. I was human when I was alive."
I sat up and turned completely to him.
" What did you do when you were alive?"
He sat to where he faced me completely.
" I was a radio announcer and a serial kill back in the 1900s. I also did a bit of hunting back then too."
The fact that he was a serial killer back then go my attention but something else got my attention and I had to ask.
" If you don't mind me asking, Alastor, how did you die?"
He looked down, his smile fading.
" Sorry, it's none of my business."
" No it's fine. I had a partner in crime back then. He was a poor lad and I took him under my wing. I needed help with the crimes I made back then and I suppose he got jealous of how much money I had from being a radio announcer. I saw him as my friend and I suppose I never noticed it."
I listened, hugging my knees to my chest.
" One day, the two of us went hunting for deer and he shot me in the back. Left me for dead there in the snow as the wolves came and finished me off."
That was incredibly sad, shot and abandoned by the person he thought was his friend. I fought back the tears in my eyes and he looked at me, taking notice of it. He pulled out a handkerchief from his coat pocket.
" Now, now, dear. You don't need to cry." He said, wiping my eyes with a the soft fabric.
" I'm sorry..."
He looked at me. It looked like he was debating on what to say or do.
" I-it's fine. Things happen that you can't control."
He pulled his hand away and put the handkerchief back in his pocket. I sighed and looked down. Alastor just sat there and watched me, what happened next got our attention. Lukus' voice called out into the air. I grabbed the staff and Alastor and I jumped out my window. Alastor landed on his feet and caught me in his arms. He took off running, not taking the time to put me down. I just hang onto him for dear life as he ran with his inhuman speed. When he stopped, we were at the clearing. He sat me down and sighed.
" Damn, you can run fast."
" My apologies. Are you alright?"
I nodded.
" Yeah, I'm okay."
We both took a seat on an old tree log and sat in silence.
" How long do you think we'll have to wait?"
" I don't know really. A while."
I nodded and leaned against him. He quickly turned to me then sighed. As the time passed, Alastor slowly laid his head on mine. I smiled and closed my eyes. It was quiet and peaceful, sure it was still a little cold, but not as bad as before. The peace didn't last long though.
" There you are!"
My eyes shot open and Alastor and I turned our heads to see Lukus. He glared at Alastor.
" Get away from her!" He snapped at Alastor.
Alastor and I quickly rose to our feet.
Lukus looked at me in confusion.
" (Y/N), quickly get over here! Why are you-!"
" Save it!" Alastor growled.
Lukus turned to him with a growl and Alastor's face lit up with rage and recognition.
" I know it's you, Lucifer!"
The being before stood quietly then laughed loud and deep. He looked at us, his eyes going red with sharp teeth and claws.
" Well, well. You caught on."
He turned to me and smirked. Alastor growled, pushing me behind him.
" Don't you even think about it." He hissed through his teeth. Lucifer turned to him and laughed, almost like Alastor's warning was hysterical.
" And what will you do, radio demon. You're nothing without your staff."
I looked up at Alastor, who looked enraged and nervous.
" I mean it, you slithery, apple loving FREAK!!" Alastor snapped.
He glared at Alastor, growling darkly.
Suddenly, he ran at Alastor and Alastor pushed me out of the way. He grabbed Alastor by the throat and lifted him in the air, trying to choke him. Alastor growled, taking his claws and scratching him from his forehead to his jaw. He growled in rage, throwing Alastor away and into a tree. I ran over to him and helped him up. Alastor turned to me.
" What are you doing here?! You need to run!"
" But-!"
" Now!"
He ran at Lucifer and tackled him to the ground. The two fought violently and every part of me told me to do what Alastor said and run, but I couldn't. I couldn't leave him alone like this. Alastor was thrown into a tree and Lucifer smiled down at him, looking completely insane. He made a sword appear in his hand.
" Bye-bye, deer."
I snapped and screamed in rage and fear.

" GET AWAY FROM HIM!!!"

The sky went black as the two of them turned to me. A tearing feeling came from my back and my pitch black wings came out. The darkness from the woods surrounded me and I changed. My hair got longer, so long in fact the it hit the ground. My clothes also changed.

My staff glowed brightly with the same bloody crimson light

My staff glowed brightly with the same bloody crimson light. I ran over at him, raising the staff above my head and bringing it down on one of his wings. The staff went straight through and he screamed in rage and pain, backing away. Looked and saw the wing on the ground, turned to the staff, I saw the cause. The staff had a blade on its top that cut straight through the wing.

I turned to Alastor and helped him up. We turned to the Lucifer a d he growled at us.
" You'll pay for this!"
Then he disappeared. I calmed down and the sky went back to normal, my clothes went back to normal and so did the staff. My hair, however, stayed long. I dropped the staff and fell to my knees. I felt like all the energy in me had left my body and I could barely stand. Alastor picked me and the staff up and took me back home. When we got back to my house and was safe in my room, Alastor laid me and the staff on the bed.
" That was a stupid and risky thing you did."
I looked up at him and sat next to me.
" Do you know how much danger you're in?! Why did you-!"
" Because I couldn't let him kill you, you stupid freaking deer!"
He looked at me in shock.
" Its not just you, Alastor! He's after us both! So let me help you!!"
I forced myself to sit up and I glared at him.
" I know what I did was stupid and reckless! But it was that or let you die! I wasn't going to let that happen so just let me help you!"
He looked at me and sighed, laying his forehead on mine.
" You really are a hard one to figure out." He said in a mumble.
" What?"
He shock his head and laid me down, covering me up.
" Rest. You lost a lot of energy."
I nodded.
" Alastor....?"
" Yes?"
" Will you stay with me till I fall asleep....please?"
He looked at me for a moment and nodded, taking a seat next to me on the bed. I sighed and closed my eyes. I was so tired and after a while, I passed out.

(Alastor's p.o.v.)
When she fell asleep, I stayed quiet and watched her. There was no denying that she a puzzle, that was for sure. Still, I owed her my life now and there was no changing that. I stood up from where I sat and looked down at her. I leaned down and gently placed a kiss on her forehead. I pulled away and sighed.
" Sleep well, (Y/N). I'll see you soon."
With that, I left and went back to the hotel. When I got back, the others looked at me in shock.
" Alastor! What happened to you!?" Charlie asked, running over to me with the others.
" Its nothing. I'll be alright."
I walked up the stairs and walked into my room. I shut the door and flopped down on the bed. I fell asleep almost instantly.
