(Y/N's p.o.v.)
It been a couple of days, but the sky was still that black color. That demon still hasn't shown his face, which I'm thankful for, but I dont want to get my hopes up. Dad and I were watching some scary movies in the living room and my grandparents went grocery shopping. Dad stood up and turned to me.
" I'm gonna go look through some more houses okay?"
I nodded and went outside to the backyard. I looked up at the black sky and sighed. I looked down and closed my eyes.
" God....please help me. What's happening to me?"
" Well dear maybe I can help."
I looked up and gasped, stepping back. Standing there was a handsome man dressed in a beautiful white suit. He had well kept blonde hair and two beautiful white wings. He smiled at me warmly and bowed.
" Hello, my dear."
" W-Who are you?!"
" My name is Lukus. I'm your guardian angel and I'm here to help."
I looked at the angel in shock.
" R-Really? Well....you said you can help explain what's happening to me right? What's happening?"
" Well, you see dear, the demon that's been haunting you is Alastor the radio demon, one of hell's strongest demons. When you got a hold of his staff, some of his powers mix into you, but with a twist."
" What....do you mean?"
" You had wings, did you not? During your last encounter with Alastor."
I nodded, crossing my arms.
" Yeah."
" That's the back lash. For anyone usually, a deal with a demon is hard to pass up, the temptation is too strong. However, you had no real temptation and rejected the deal and when you grabbed the staff, you rejected the deal again. That's why you changed, my dear. The power in the staff changed because you had a hold on it and your pure soul mixed with the power."
" Then...why are my wings black."
" It's because technically, you're still a human. Now more difficult to kill, yes, but still human. You're soul was pure and was strong enough to change the staff, but not completely with what type of power it has, because your still a human. So, it still has dark power in it."
I nodded and looked down.
" Okay...I....guess that makes sense."
" I know its confusing, but you have done nothing wrong, my dear."
I nodded, sighing.
" Okay..."
Lukus looks at me, sadness and pity in his eyes.
" Don't worry, it's okay. I give you my word."
I smiled and nodded.
" Thank you, Lukus."
" Of course. Has the beast come to see you yet?"
I shook my head.
" No, I haven't seen him for a while."
He nodded, looking down, as if he was thinking.
" I see. Well, just in case, here where this."
He reached out his hand to me and handed me a beautiful necklace.I took it and put it on, smiling at the gift.
" If he appears and you need me, simply call out my name and I'll come running."
I hugged him tight, holding back happy tears.
" Thank you so much Lukus."
He chuckled and hugged back.
" Of course, my dear. Don't worry, everything will be okay."
I nodded and let him go. He kissed my head and disappeared in a beautiful white light. I smiled and went inside, holding the necklace close to my heart. Dad turned to me as I walked in.
" Hi honey. You okay? Why are you crying?"
I wiped my tears away.
" I...made a new friend is all, dad."
He smiled and nodded.
" I think I found us a house for a reasonable price. It's close by too."
I nodded with a smile. Dad looked at my necklace.
" Where did you-!"
Grandpa walked inside, hands filled with groceries. He looked at me and dad.
" It's colder than hell out there!"
Dad and I shared a chuckle and helped bring in the groceries. Grandma wasted no time and started cooking dinner and grandpa put on the greatest showman, one of my favorite movies. I couldn't help but sing along with the songs I knew from the movie. After the movie and dinner, I changed into a nightgown.I sat on my bed and looked at the necklace. It shimmered in the moonlight, making me smile. I laid down and fell asleep.
" Well, Well. Been a little while."
My eyes shot open and I looked up. Alastor stood there and I turned to my clock 3 am.
" W-What are you doing here!?"
" I think you know. My staff." He growled.
I backed away from him, holding the necklace.
" S-Stay back! I'm warning you!"
He laughed a wicked laugh and glared at me.
" And what will you do if I dont!?"
He jumped back and quickly got off my bed. I ran out of the room and out to the backyard, he followed close behind me. I cried and held the necklace tightly.
" LUKUS!!!" I screamed out.
A burst of light strikes down and Lukus appears, guarding me.
" Don't you touch her!"
Alastor took a step back, fear in his eyes. Happy and relieved, I hugged Lukus from behind.
" Lukus....you came."
He hugged me tight, wrapping his wings around me.
" Of course I did. I promised you I would if you needed me."
Alastor glares at us, baring his teeth. Lukus glared at him, making a weapon appear with a orb of light in his hand. When the weapon took its form, it was a halberd." Go back to hell where you belong, demon!"
Alastor backed up and turned his attention to me.
" This isnt over, Girl!"
He then disappeared in a red cloud of smoke. Lukus and I sighed and he turned to me.
" My dear, are you okay?"
He hugged him tight.
" I am thanks to you!"
He smiled and took me back inside. When we got to my bedroom, I sat on my bed. He looked around.
" Where is the staff?"
" I hid it in the closet. It's the only space I could think to put it."
He nodded and kisses my forehead.
" Goodnight my dear."
With that, he disappeared in his white light. I smiled and laid down.
" Goodnight, Lukus."
