Anastasius pov

i was about to leave the bathroom to go back to the theatre since it was after school. when i heard people talking in the hallway.

"i'll see you tomorrow though" a high pitched voice said.

that can only be one person, Lola. Ethan's girlfriend.

"of course, baby" he says, then i heard Lola's high heels click away.

i rolled my eyes slightly and walked out, almost bumping into Ethan. shit.

i looked up and made eye contact. he raised his eyebrows slightly.

"i was looking for you" he says.

"and why is that" i say.

he shrugged. i rolled my eyes.

"how about we play a game" he speaks up.

i raise an eyebrow

"what kind of game" i ask him, crossing my arms. waiting to go back to the theatre.

"a love game" he says.

i stood confused. he noticed, so he started to explain.

"we fake date, do all the couple things. hold hands, kiss, all that other stuff. whoever falls for the other one first, has to go tell the entire school and say it was all fake" he says.

"i'll think about it... but if it does happen. both Abi and Chloe need to know about it" i say.

"okay deal" he says.

i nod, more awkwardly than not and walked past him going to the theatre.

as i walked into the theatre, Abi walked away from someone and went back to her art piece.

there were a bunch of students here because there's night of the arts at our school soon and we'll all be doing stuff. like singing, dancing, acting out something, art, and possibly more.

i'm going to be doing 3 things for it. singing, acting and art. for the art part of it, you draw a quick sketch out on a canvas of what you want to paint and then paint it. all on the stage, for acting you can do whatever you please. a few of my friends and i will be acting out something. and singing is simple, you pick a song and sing it.

i walked up to Abi, she was practicing in her sketch book of her outlines of her painting. she had the sketch book on the edge of the stage, so i hopped up on the stage and sat on the edge.

"is there something you have to say?" Abi asked.

"yes, but. you can't freak out and let me explain" i say.

she immediately looked up.

so i continued. "Ethan wants to play a love game with m-" Abi interrupted.

"what?! with Ethan" she exclaimed.

"i said let me exclaim, abi. basically we fake date and do all this couple stuff. whoever falls for the other first loses and has to tell the whole school it was fake"

"and what if you lose. i don't want you getting hurt"

"i won't lose, i can't bring myself to like someone like Ethan. i want to do it, so i can change his view of girls and how playing them is wrong"

"okay that's fair. just be careful"

"i know, abi"

i smiled slightly, i cant wait.
