Anastasius pov

"wait what?" Chloe exclaimed.

i told her about the love game Ethan had told me about earlier in the day.

"i told you to be careful with him Stace" she says, more calmly.

"i know Chloe. but thinking about it, i really want to. i want to change his perspective of girls and playing them" i say.

she sighed. "okay and what if you fall for him. what will you do then"

"yeah okay, Chloe. like i would fall for someone like Ethan"

"you never know, Stace. especially with him"

"please Chloe. let me do it, if i get hurt it'll be my own fault"

"fine, but don't drag me into the middle of it"

"ah thank you" i exclaim, running up to my room.

i sat on my bed and turned on the tv. half n hour later, i decided to practice my art for night of the arts. i felt good about it after an hour and a half of working on it so i put it away.

i yawned, standing up and stretching. then leaving my room to go get a glass of water. i walked back to my room, when my door was closed.

"okay i was sure i had it open when i left" i say to myself, opening the door.

"what are you doing in here" i exclaim. Ethan was sitting on my bed.

"i was over to hangout with Chloe so, the game?" he asked.

i set my water on my stand and turned to Ethan "yes i'll do it. but you have to break up with you know who" i cant even say her name.

"already done" he says.

i slightly nodded, confused on how he did he so fast.

"starts tomorrow" he says and smirked, standing up and leaving. i rolled my eyes and sighed, collapsing on my bed.

*next morning*

i woke up in a pretty good mood, until i realized it was the day me and Ethan start 'dating'. agh, whatever i have nothing to worry about. he'll be the one losing, not me.

as Chloe drove into the spot to drop me off to school, Ethan was leaning against his jeep right next to the spot Chloe drops me off at.

"i can drop her off after school since i'll be coming over anyway" Ethan said to Chloe as i got out.

please say no, please say no, please say no.

"sure!" she said.

i rolled my eyes and groaned. shutting the door behind me.

she drove away, waving. i turned around, to look at Ethan.

"hey" i say.

"hi" he says.

i nodded. the sooner we start the game, the sooner we'll get it done. so, i slowly brought my hand to his and locked my fingers with his. he did the same.

i look back up at him and then he looked at me.

"let's go" he says.

i could feel all eyes on us as we walked into the school. it felt weird, i bet no one would guess we would end up together. yet, no one knows it's fake.

we got to the door and Ethan opened the door for me. as he walked in behind me, his arm wrapped around my waist. pulling me closer as people stared.

i looked around for abi and seen her in the usual spot, and she spots me.

her eyes quickly go to his hand on my way, and meets my eyes raising her eyebrows.

"wow, i didn't expect it to actually happen. but um, congrats guys" Abi says to me and Ethan as we stop infront of her.

i glare at her, and roll my eyes.

Ethan lets go of my waist "i'll see ya after school" he says.

"okay, bye" i say.

i sigh, looking back at Abi.

"so it's happening" she says, more asking.

i nod "its in full swing"

"just don't get hurt" she says.

"i won't Abs" i say.

she smiled at me and swung her arm over my shoulder and we walked to class.
